Day 1(Tuesday) – Fly to Hawaii, Flower Lei Greeting, Transfer to Hotel: After boarding your scheduled aircraft, sit back, relax and before you know it, you will arrive in fabulous Honolulu, Hawaii. Tour members who have purchased their airline tickets from YMT Vacations, please meet your YMT staff representative in the baggage claims area for meet and greet services and transfers to the hotel, in the exciting Waikiki Beach district of Honolulu.
Days 2-4(Wednesday-Friday) – Honolulu Leisure Days: The next few days are yours to do as you wish. Your escort has arranged a variety of popular optional tours from which to choose. These choices include both day and evening events with round trip transportation.
Day 5(Saturday) – Honolulu City Tour & Board Norwegian Cruise Line “Pride of America” (8:00 PM): This morning you will receive a tour of Old and New Honolulu featuring the Punch Bowl Crater, now a national cemetery, Diamondhead, the statue of King Kamehameha, Kawaiahao Church, International Market Place and much more. Afterward, you will board your cruise ship for the beginning of your on board experience.
Days 6-7(Sunday-Monday) – Kahului, Maui (Sun 8:00 AM - Mon 6:00 PM): Maui’s largest town, Kahului, means “The Winning,” and offers visitors beautiful sea vistas. You can visit the Alexander and Baldwin Sugar Museum, Kanaha Pond State Wildlife Sanctuary, Maui Arts and Cultural Center, Kanaha Pond State Wildlife Sanctuary, or browse one of the shopping centers.
Day 8(Tuesday) – Hilo, Hawaii (8:00 AM-6:00 PM): Brimming with Hawaiian tradition, Hilo takes you back to an earlier island culture. The town will charm you with its quaint buildings and unique shopping. Hilo is the flower capital of Hawaii, and gardens and blossoms are everywhere. Shore excursions will be set to take you through lush tropical forests to Volcanoes National Park, where you’ll have the rare opportunity to step up to the molten lava flows of the world’s most active volcano, the notoriously temperamental Kilauea. From Volcano House, you can view the spectacular Kilauea Crater. Two-and-a-half miles wide and 400 feet deep, the crater is the legendary home of Pele, the goddess of fire. Another shore excursion will explore Hilo and all its hidden Hawaiian treasures.
Day 9(Wednesday) – Kona, Hawaii (7:00 AM-6:00 PM): In Kona you can spend your day exploring the “Gold Coast” in a wide variety of ways - riding in a horse-drawn carriage, skimming the seas in a glass-bottom boat, snorkeling below the waves. If you prefer to keep your feet on dry land, you may choose to take a leisurely walking tour through historic Kailua Village or one of the many island coffee plantations. There are many choices in always sunny Kona.
Day 10(Thursday) – Nawiliwili, Kauai (8:00 AM / Overnight): This verdant little isle exudes peace and tranquility. Nature has been good to Kauai, creating craters, mountains, rivers, canyons and glorious stretches of palm-fringed beaches. Nicknamed the ‘Garden Island’ Kauai is the least populated and least developed of the four main islands.
Day 11(Friday) – Nawiliwili, Kauai and Cruise Na Pali Coast (2:00 PM): The Na Pali coast, featured in the film Jurassic Park and many other movies, is one of the most distinctive geological features of Kauai and consists of sheer cliffs thousands of feet high that drop directly onto pristine secluded beaches. The beaches are reachable only by boat, helicopter, or very experienced hikers, but the cliffs may be viewed from the top by driving to the end of Route 550.
Day 12(Saturday) – Honolulu (7:00 AM): After a wonderful Hawaiian cruise, depart Honolulu for home.
