Day 1(Friday) - Overnight Flight to Paris: Think of all the exciting experiences you’ll have on this fun-filled European tour as you fly into Paris, the City of Lights.
Day 2(Saturday) - Paris, France: Upon arrival, tour members who have purchased airline tickets from YMT vacations, please meet your YMT representative outside the baggage claim and customs area for meet and greet services and transfers to your hotel. Included dinner and overnight in Paris. (D)
Day 3(Sunday) - Paris, France: Morning in Paris includes breakfast and a half-day city sightseeing tour with a local guide who will give you a more in-depth look at the city. You’ll see Invalides, Pont Neuf, Bastille Square, the new Opera, Luxembourg Gardens and take a ride to the second floor observation platform of the Eiffel Tower! The afternoon and evening are at your leisure to explore Paris on your own. Overnight in Paris. (B)
Day 4(Monday) - Paris Leisure Day: After your included breakfast, you’ll have the entire day to explore one of the most romantic cities in the world! Fill your day with the Louvre museum, and look for the glass pyramid, the new entrance to the famous museum. Perhaps you would like to take the time to sip an espresso and enjoy a croissant at an outdoor cafe. Overnight in Paris. (B)
Day 5(Tuesday) - Travel from Paris to Geneva, Switzerland: Set off after your included breakfast and travel through a beautiful array of scenery as you head east from Paris to Geneva. On the way, stop for a delightful wine tasting session at Beaune, in the heart of Burgundy, France’s renowned wine country. Included dinner and overnight in Geneva. (B, D)
Day 6(Wednesday) - Geneva, Switzerland: In the morning, you’ll enjoy breakfast and a guided tour of the Red Cross museum. Use your afternoon leisure time to explore this charming city: shop, stroll the narrow streets of Geneva’s old town, or visit the sights associated with John Calvin, who spent his formative years here. Overnight in Geneva. (B)
Day 7(Thursday) - Travel from Geneva to Nice via Sisteron, France: After your included breakfast, continue your journey south to Nice, located on the magnificent Mediterranean coast. En route, stop in the village of Sisteron, a town founded over 4,000 years ago by the Romans. You will have some time to explore the village on your own before you continue to Nice. Included dinner and overnight in Nice. (B, D)
Day 8(Friday) - Nice, France: After included breakfast, you’re on your way to explore more of Nice. An ethnically diverse port, this city is situated on the Mediterranean Sea coast in the French Riviera. the ancient local language here is Nissart, but of course, everyone speaks French. Don’t assume everyone you encounter will speak English — an effort at French will always be appreciated. in the village of Eze, you’ll visit the Fragonard Perfume factory. The afternoon is at your leisure. Overnight in Nice. (B)
Day 9(Saturday) - Travel from Nice to Montecatini-Terme, Italy via Pisa: Included breakfast begins your day and prepares you for a drive along the coast to Montecatini. You’ll stop in Pisa along the way to see one of the world’s most famous monuments, the Leaning tower, built over 800 years ago. Dinner and overnight in Montecatini-Terme. (B, D)
Day 10(Sunday) - Montecatini, Excursion to Florence: After your included breakfast, you’ll travel to Florence and spend the entire day exploring the city. Your guided city sightseeing tour includes a visit to Santa Maria Del Fiore Duomo, Florence’s famous cathedral. Use your afternoon leisure time to explore Florence. Return to Montecatini in the late afternoon. Overnight in Montecatini-Terme. (B)
Day 11(Monday) - Travel from Montecatini to Rome via Orvieto: Enjoy your included breakfast, then take a drive through glorious Italian countryside on your way to Rome, stopping for a guided sightseeing tour of Orvieto which lays in the region of Umbria. Let yourself get carried away by a funicular to an ancient city “halfway through heaven and earth” and discover the history behind this charming city – your local guide will take you through the street of Orvieto where you can admire a variety of Etruscan, medieval and Renaissance art. By mid-afternoon, continue to Italy’s capital city of Rome. Included dinner and overnight in Rome. (B, D)
Day 12(Tuesday) - Morning sightseeing Tour of the Vatican and afternoon tour of Ancient Rome: Once finished with your breakfast, you ́ll have a guided tour of the Vatican, including the Vatican museum, which houses some of the world’s most important and valuable art treasures. The highlight of your Vatican museum tour is a visit to the famous Sistine Chapel to view its splendid vault, painted by Michelangelo. You will also visit St. Peter’s Basilica, built on the site where St. Peter was buried. After your Vatican visit you will enjoy a panoramic tour of Rome where you will see views of Piazza Republica, Piazza Venezia, Roman forum and many other views. Your tour will end at the Colosseum where you can spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure or return to the hotel. (B)
Day 13(Wednesday) - Depart for Home from Rome: Pack your souvenirs and memories, and say “ciao” to the glories of Rome.
