Today you will be in the heart of the Sierras for a visit to Yosemite National Park and Yosemite Village. Yosemite is a setting so spectacular and awe-inspiring that even the first non-native visitors realized it should be protected for all time. John Muir, naturalist and Sierra Club founder, called it "a landscape that after all my wandering still appears as the most beautiful I have ever beheld". You will spend the majority of your day here as you take in the magnificent scenery, waterfalls, forests, lakes, domes, pinnacles, wildlife, and the mountains surrounding Yosemite Village.
