The great state of Alaska is known for its beautiful scenery, magnificent landscape and its abundant wildlife making it a fantastic travel destination. For tourists looking to see the vast array of wildlife that includes bears, moose and bald eagles, there are numerous options available. According to Travel Alaska, the state's tourism bureau, some companies offer air excursions that allow you to see spectacular views of volcanoes and guarantee that you will see plenty if bears.

Some people may be more interested in seeing some of the marine life in Alaska like the humpback and orca whales, or the harbor seals and walruses. Glacier cruises are a great way to take in all the beautiful scenery Alaska has to offer as well as get up close and personal with some aquatic wildlife.
