Explore Hawaii's Napali Coast

When traveling to Hawaii as your vacation destination, there are limitless options as to what you can do. Exploring the Napali Coast on Kauai is a great activity and there is enough to do there to take up an entire day, according to Go Hawaii, the state's tourism bureau.

Napali Coast is located on the north shore of the Kauai island and is a beautiful scenic area that includes waterfalls and 17 miles of mountainous shoreline. Companies offer charters that will take you on tours around the coast.

For example, Holoholo charters takes tourists all around the Napoli Coast and has options available to snorkel, sight-see and take people to the "forbidden island" of Niihau. They offer a wide variety of tour options allowing people to pick which tour they believe is best for them, according to its website.

Ambitious tourists can choose to hike the Kauai Island and can take the 11-miletrail extending from Kee Beach to Kalalau Beach. Hikers are encouraged to break the trail in to two days and camp at the Hanakapai Beach which is located in the middle of the trail.
