Day 1

Arrive Fort Lauderdale and Embarkation

Your transatlantic adventure begins as you board Costa's Deliziosa, your floating hotel for the next 3 weeks.

Day 2

Nassau, Bahamas (12:00 PM–6:00 PM)

Welcome to Nassau! Relive the swashbuckling past on an exciting pirates and dungeons tour of Fort Charlotte and the Pirates of Nassau Museum.

Day 3

At Sea

Settle in and discover the many facilities aboard your ship. Enjoy the warmth of the Caribbean and the many activities available to you. The experienced crew is at your disposal to help with suggestions and the daily newsletter outlines the ship’s amenities and featured activities for each day.

Day 4

Amber Cove, Dominican Republic (8:00 AM–2:00 PM)

Located on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, Amber Cove is just seven miles from the town Puerto Plata. Explore the 450-yearold San Felipe Fortress, ride on a cable car 2,500 feet to the top of Mount Isabel de Torres to view the massive statue of Christ or just relax at the beach.

Day 5

Samana, Dominican Republic (8:00AM- 3:00PM)

Welcome to Samana, a natural treasure. Wild, verdant, with coves, bays, waterfalls, mountains and awe-inspiring views – there is lots to explore or just relax at one of its beautiful beaches.

Day 6

Basseterre, Saint Kitts (3:00PM-11:00PM)

Basseterre is the capital of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis and an island of volcanoes, golden sand beaches and gorgeous green hills. Discovered in 1623 by the British and settled by the French in 1625, the island's deep colonial history is reflected in the abandoned fortresses, as well as its landscaped gardens, city squares and architectural details.

Day 7

St. John's, Antigua (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

The island of Antigua is a tropical paradise with palm-fringed beaches and crystal clear water. Explore picturesque English Harbor and visit St. John’s, the capital.

Day 8-13

At Sea

Spend the week enjoying the pampered life at sea on your cruise. Learn to play shuffleboard or chess or attend an art class. Take a swim, sauna, or relax in a hot tub. At night play in the casino, catch the scheduled evening’s entertainment, or just relax with your favorite beverage in one of the many cafes or lounges. The daily newsletter and the friendly staff can guide you to get the most out of your cruise.

Day 14

St. Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands (8:00 AM–4:00 PM)

The island of Tenerife is known for its yearround warm climate and spectacular views, the most impressive perhaps from near the summit of Mt. Teide; at 11,600 feet, it is Spain’s highest mountain.

Day 15

At Sea

As the Deliziosa ventures along the Iberian Peninsula and through the Strait of Gibraltar from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea, relax and enjoy the fabulous onboard amenities once more at your own pace.

Day 16

Cádiz, Spain (9:00 AM–7:00 PM)

Cádiz has retained its historic appearance, with quaint but well-preserved ancient streets and Moorish architecture, all infused with the easygoing personality of southern Spain.

Day 17

Málaga (8:00 AM–2:00 PM)

Málaga is located on Spain’s Costa del Sol (Coast of the Sun) on the Mediterranean Sea. Founded around 3,000 years ago, it went on to become an important part of the Roman Empire as a center for both commerce and culture before being dominated by the Moors.

Day 18

At Sea

Take advantage of all the onboard amenities, entertainment, and dining offerings once more at your own pace during another day at sea. The ship’s experienced crew is at your disposal to help with suggestions and the daily newsletter outlines featured activities and events for each day. Sit down to a four course meal and a fine wine. Or grab a burger hot off the grill. Dress up. Dress down. Sit with your friends or make new ones.

Day 19

Marseille (1:00 PM–6:00 PM)

Amongst Marseille's many terracotta-roofed buildings lie lots of intriguing sights, including the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de la Garde and Parc Longchamp with its beautiful palace.

Day 20

Savona (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)

Christopher Columbus is one of the most celebrated former inhabitants of Savona. Only a short drive to the east along the Italian Riviera is the Italian city of Genoa, a historic arch rival of Savona.

Day 21

Naples (1:00 PM–7:00 PM)

Naples is one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities and home to the largest historic city center in Europe, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the stunning Amalfi Coast or picturesque Sorrento on an optional shore excursion.

Day 22

At Sea

Enjoy another day at sea. Take advantage of the opulent entertainment program, relax on the sundeck or indulge in a book from the ship’s onboard library while the Deliziosa cruises toward Bari.

Day 23

Bari, Italy (8:00 AM–8:00 PM)

Discover the ancient city of Bari, a labyrinth of little streets with the Basilica di San Nicola, an important religious pilgrimage site for nearly a millennium in the heart of the old city.

Day 24

Dubrovnik (7:00 AM–2:00 PM)

“Those who seek paradise on Earth should come to Dubrovnik” - so wrote the famed British playwright George Bernard Shaw when he first visited the town. Dubrovnik is reputed to be one of the most beautiful places in the world, a true highlight on your cruise vacation!

Day 25

Disembark in Venice

Enjoy an included sightseeing tour of Venice, built on an archipelago of 117 islands in a lagoon. In the afternoon, leave Venice and overnight in Mestre. (D)

Day 26

Florence & Montecatini

Travel to Florence and through the renowned Tuscany region. See the 13th century cathedral and Ponte Vecchio, an iconic medieval bridge with shops built along it, on your included walking tour. We overnight in Montecatini, a spa town built around mineral springs. (B)

Day 27

Orvieto & Rome

Enjoy more of Italy’s breathtaking landscape on our way to Rome today. Take the funicular (a cliff cable railway) up to the ancient town of Orvieto and explore the rich history of this charming town. (B, D)

Day 28

Rome Sightseeing

Your full-day sightseeing tour includes outside views of the Roman Forum and the Colosseum, the largest amphitheater ever built in the Roman Empire. Throw a coin into the fabled Trevi Fountain, completed in 1762, and make a wish to return! (B, D)
