Day 1 & 2

Arrive in Milan/Lake Maggiore

After your overnight flight, arrive in Milan. On day 2, meet your fellow travelers and local Tour Director over an included welcome dinner. Your overnight will be right at beautiful Lake Maggiore. (D)

Day 3

Genoa & Embarkation

This morning, enjoy an included panoramic tour before transferring to the port city of Genoa to board MSC’s Meraviglia. (B)

Day 4

Marseille, France (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

INCLUDED PROVENCE DE FRANCE EXPERIENCE: Today visit Aix-en-Provence, the perfect blend of French history, modern style, and the Provençal way of life. Its leafy boulevards and public squares are lined with 17th and 18th-century mansions, punctuated by gurgling moss-covered fountains. The tour includes a walking tour and leisure time to
explore this charming city. Don't miss Cours Mirabeau, a beautiful tree-lined avenue with wonderful terrace cafés and bookshops.

 

Day 5

Barcelona (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Barcelona is a modern, sophisticated city with a cultural heart dating back to the Middle Ages. Art museums, the spectacular cathedral built by James II in 1298, and Gaudi’s modernist style of architecture that can be admired in the Gothic Quarter, including Sagrada Familia church, leave no shortage of sites to visit.

Day 6

At Sea

Today relax, unwind and enjoy the fabulous amenities aboard the brand new Meraviglia.

Day 7

Cádiz, Spain (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

The oldest continuously inhabited city in the Iberian Peninsula and thought to be one of the oldest cities in Europe, Cádiz was founded in 1104 BC. It has retained its historic appearance, with well-preserved ancient streets, seaside fortresses, and Moorish architecture, all infused with the easygoing personality of southern Spain.

Day 8

Lisbon, Portugal (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

The Portuguese maritime voyages of discovery turned Lisbon into one of the world’s great ports and the center of an empire that stretched from Brazil in the west to India in the east. Marvel at Lisbon’s sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and countless historic sites!

Day 9

Vigo, Spain (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Vigo is a beautiful town located in the region of Galicia, the “green heart” of Spain, on the northeast coast. This port offers visitors an authentic taste of Spain and its local life.

Day 10

At Sea

As the Meraviglia leaves the Atlantic Ocean behind and sails north into the English Channel, enjoy another day at sea.

Day 11

Southampton, United Kingdom (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)

INCLUDED STONEHENGE & MEDIEVAL SALISBURY EXPERIENCE:  Your included tour will take you to medieval
Salisbury. Visit Salisbury Cathedral, not only one of Britain's most iconic attraction but also home to the most well-preserved of the four remaining Magna Carta of 1215. After a guided tour and some leisure time, your journey will continue on to one of the most prehistoric monuments in the world, the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge. Dated somewhere between 2,400 and 2,200 BC, this mysterious ground has been suggested to be a site of either religious intent, or of a celestial observatory. The site is still home to numerous rituals and festivals.

 

Day 12

Le Havre, France (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)

Situated on the estuary of the river Seine in France’s Normandy region, Le Havre is the ideal starting point to explore numerous world-renowned destinations in the area. Join an optional shore excursion to the D-Day landing beaches of Omaha. Or, join an optional, full-day shore excursion to France’s capital city of Paris.

Day 13

At Sea

 The final full day of the cruise – your last chance to enjoy the onboard amenities and extensive dining choices.

Day 14

Disembarkation in Hamburg, Germany

Today you will disembark in Hamburg, Germany’s second largest city with a rich history dating back over 1,000 years. Enjoy a morning panoramic tour where you will get to see city hall, St. Michael’s Church, dedicated to Archangel Michael, and “Speicherstadt”, the old warehouse district with its picturesque canals. Take a journey back in time before continuing to Amsterdam. (D)

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Few cities meld history with modern urban flair like Amsterdam. Ripe for rambling, its compact core is laced by atmospheric lanes and quarters. Enjoy a half-day city tour and see the Dam Square with the Royal Palace, New Church, the National Monument and the Skinny Bridge across the River Amstel. (B)
