Day 1 & 2

Arrive in Milan

After your overnight flight, arrive in Milan. On day 2, meet your fellow travelers and local Tour Director over an included welcome dinner. Stay overnight in Milan, famous for having the world’s largest gothic cathedral, and Italy’s modern “capitol of fashion and finance.” (D)

Day 3

Genoa & Embarkation

This morning, enjoy an included panoramic tour before transferring to the port city of Genoa to board MSC’s Orchestra. (B)

Day 4

Marseille, France (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Amongst Marseille's many terracotta-roofed buildings lie lots of intriguing sights, including
the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de la Garde and Parc Longchamp with its beautiful palace.


Day 5

Barcelona (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Discover the iconic sights of Spain’s second largest city and Catalonia’s capital, one of theforemost cities in the western Mediterranean, on this included tour. Founded in Roman times, Barcelona experienced periods of great economic and cultural brilliance in the Middle Ages and in the wake of the Industrial Revolution during the 19th century. It has preserved an outstanding architectural heritage, notably in Gothic, modernist (Gaudi), and avant-garde styles. The tour will also include a short walking tour at the Gothic District (the old town of Barcelona).

Day 6

At Sea

Today relax, unwind and enjoy the fabulous amenities aboard the Orchestra.

Day 7

Cádiz, Spain (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

The oldest continuously inhabited city in the Iberian Peninsula and thought to be one of the oldest cities in Europe, Cádiz was founded in 1104 BC. It has retained its historic appearance, with well-preserved ancient streets, seaside fortresses, and Moorish architecture, all infused with the easygoing personality of southern Spain.

Day 8

Lisbon, Portugal (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

The Portuguese maritime voyages of discovery turned Lisbon into one of the world’s great ports and the center of an empire that stretched from Brazil in the west to India in the east. Marvel at Lisbon's sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and countless historic sites!

Day 9

Vigo, Spain (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Vigo is a beautiful town located in the region of Galicia, the “green heart” of Spain, on the northeast coast. This port offers visitors an authentic taste of Spain and its local life.

Day 10

At Sea

As the Orchestra leaves the Atlantic Ocean behind and sails north into the English Channel, enjoy another day at sea.

Day 11

Southampton, United Kingdom (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)

Today’s port of call is Southampton, most prominently known as the origin point of RMS Titanic’s infamous maiden voyage to the New World. Join an optional excursion to Great Britain’s capital city of London with famous Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, home of the British Royal Family.

Day 12

Le Havre, France (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)

Today’s port will include a sure highlight of your tour, an excursion to Paris in the springtime! After an approximately 3-hour coach ride through the Normandy countryside, you will reach the “City of Light,” Paris. The city has a timeless familiarity for first-time and frequent visitors, with instantly recognizable architectural icons, along with exquisite cuisine, chic boutiques and priceless artistic treasures. During the panoramic tour, you will visit the iconic Eiffel Tower piercing the clouds, the broad Arc de Triomphe guarding Paris’ most glamorous avenue, the Champs-Elysees, the gargoyles of Notre Dame Cathedral, the beautiful bridges spanning the Seine and the art nouveau cafes spilling onto wicker-chair-lined terraces.

Day 13

At Sea

The final full day of the cruise – your last chance to enjoy the onboard amenities and extensive dining choices.

Day 14

Disembarkation and City Tour in Hamburg, Germany

Today you will disembark in Hamburg, Germany’s second largest city with a rich history dating back over 1,000 years. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the most important sights including city hall, St. Michael’s Church, dedicated to Archangel Michael, and “Speicherstadt,” the old warehouse district with its picturesque canals. Spend the night in this captivating city. (D)

Day 15

Hamburg to Potsdam and Berlin

Depart Hamburg in the morning for historic Potsdam. Today’s attraction is Cecilienhof Palace.
Originally built as a royal residence before the start of WWI in 1914, the palace took on historical
significance at the end of WWII as the location of the Potsdam Conference, where US President
Truman, British Prime Minister Churchill, and Soviet leader Stalin met to decide how to rebuild
after the end of the war. Tonight’s stay will be in Germany’s capitol, Berlin. (B)

Day 16

Berlin City Tour

Enjoy a city tour of Berlin’s most iconic sights this morning. The afternoon is yours to enjoy, either on one of YMT’s optional sightseeing tours or at your leisure, perhaps enjoying the local cuisine in a traditional German biergarten. (B, D)

Day 17

Departure Day

Today, bid farewell to Europe, taking home a suitcase full of memories and stories to share from your YMT cruise vacation! (B)
