December 27, 2010 - 2:21am
Those who are heading on a vacation to the United Kingdom should make sure to include Northern Ireland on their trip, as the capital city of Belfast is a beautiful place to visit for its culture and history.

There is a wealth of history in the Victorian city. It is where the legendary Titanic ship was built back in 1911 and tourists are able to hear first-hand accounts of passenger experiences in the Titanic Quarter.

Falls Road is another historical attraction, as it illustrates the hardships between religion in politics in the 20th century. Each year, the Feile an Phobail festival takes place to showcase Ireland's traditions in culture through dancing and music.

Make sure to visit the Buildings at Stormont, which are currently are home to the Northern Ireland Assembly and Executive legislatures. It was once where the country's Parliament would meet. They are an impressive set of castellated buildings, large and white and situated at the end of a long road.

Other historical attractions to visit while in Belfast include the Ulster and Transport Museum, as well as the Amargh County Museum.
