Be One of the Millions of Annual Visitors to Prague
As one of the cultural, economic and political centers of Eastern Europe, Prague is a destination that draws tourists from every corner of the world. As many as 4.1 million visitors come to the Czech Republic capital each year to explore its history dating back 1,100 years as well as more than 10 major museums.

The city's most famous and historic site is the Prague Castle. The building can trace its roots as far back as 870 A.D., and at more than 1,870 feet long and 426 feet wide, it has the distinction as being the largest castle in the world. The cavernous building has a number of highlights but perhaps the most well-known is Vladislav Hall. This ceremonial space was built between 1490 and 1502 and stands as a perfect example of Czech gothic art thanks to its wide ribbed vaults.

Visitors to the city who are more interested in its cultural offerings will want to stop by the National Gallery in Prague. The state-operated gallery dates back to 1796 and is a highlighted by a room entirely dedicated to Picasso, including two self-portraits by the iconic artist.

With a welcoming atmosphere and an array of unique experiences, anybody who steps foot in Prague will likely want to plan a return trip soon after their visit.
