Mykonos hosts some of Europe's best beach-side nightlife
Though Greece attracts visitors the world over who long to see ancient ruins, the country is also home to some of the most beautiful beaches and temperate climates in the world. This is especially true on the island of Mykonos, which is known for its striking white architecture and wild nightlife.

The island is lined with beaches, and one of the most frequented is Elia beach. Located just six miles from the island's capital, Elia is the longest sandy beach in the area, and it offers the perfect blend of activity and relaxation. Furthermore, the beach is lined with bars and restaurants for anybody looking to take a reprieve from the sun.

Specifically, the Elia Cafe-Bar is an excellent place to grab a bite to eat. The establishment is well-known for its fish, but the chefs are also renowned for their original pasta and meat dishes.

A little bit farther south in Mykonos, Psarous beach is among the best spots to visit. The clear waters often attract global celebrities, and the area is the perfect place to go for those looking to partake in water sports or scuba diving.
