Day 1

Fly to Las Vegas

Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas! Guests who booked their air through YMT will be greeted by a YMT representative and transferred to their hotel. The night is at leisure and yours to enjoy this city of plentiful entertainment. Take in one of the city’s many shows, try your luck at one of the casinos, explore the eye-opening Fremont Street Experience, or stay in to enjoy the pool and dining options at your hotel.

Day 2

Las Vegas

Las Vegas is the “Entertainment Capital of the World.” With a multitude of activities, attractions, and dining options, it is always open! Enjoy your day at leisure to take advantage of the seemingly endless offerings. Visit the hotels and casinos along the world- famous Las Vegas Strip, the brightest place on Earth when seen from outer space. Or, take a  flight to the Grand Canyon West Rim or visit the Hoover Dam. Enjoy your final night in the city before departing for Death Valley in the morning.

Day 3

Death Valley

Depart Las Vegas in the morning for stunningly beautiful Death Valley National Park. It is renowned for basins as deep as 300 feet below sea level, making it the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere. You will marvel at beautifully bizarre rock and salt formations at Zabriskie Point and Badwater Basin. Continue on to Los Angeles for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Los Angeles and Embarkation

This morning see the City of Angels and Hollywood. Your Tour Director will lead you on an exciting city tour of highlights, including the Chinese Theatre with the famed hand and foot prints of stars such as Elizabeth Taylor and Judy Garland. The nearby Dolby Theatre, home of the Oscar’s, has a courtyard that o ers a picture perfect view of the famous Hollywood sign. It will then be time to board the Norwegian Star, your floating hotel for the next seven nights.

Day 5 & 6

At Sea

Start your relaxing cruise with two days at sea, giving you ample time to settle into your new home and the opportunity to experience everything the Norwegian Star has to o er. Multiple dining options are available and are included in our tour price, ensuring an unprecedented variety in cuisine. Swim, take in a show, try your luck in the casino - This is the perfect time to unwind and really enjoy yourself!

Day 7

Puerto Vallarta (9:00 AM–6:00 PM)

Puerto Vallarta is the quintessential Mexican resort over owing with the charm of Old Mexico. Narrow cobblestone streets, lined with shops and galleries, provide perfectly shaded patios where you may sample Carne Asada as a mariachi band plays. You can bargain with local merchants for one-of-a-kind souvenirs, or wander the 25 miles of golden beaches that stretch along Banderas Bay.

Day 8

Mazatlán (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

Combine a first-class beach resort with a city that has an illustrious, colonial past and you have Mazatlán. Founded in 1531, the city
was developed into a thriving commercial seaport by German immigrants who arrived mid-19th century. Mazatlán’s fortune came from importing equipment for the nearby gold and silver mines. The German settlers also in uenced the local music “banda,” an alteration of Bavarian folk music, as well as the beer culture, by founding the local and now world famous Pacifico brewery.

Day 9

Cabo San Lucas (7:00 AM–3:00 PM)

Cabo’s signature landmark is El Arco (“The Arch”), a rock formation at the tip of “Land’s End.” The jewel of the Baja Peninsula is famous for its world-class sport  shing, as well as its high-end resorts and exclusive gated communities that line an area simply called “the Corridor.” Once sought by pirates for its safe harbors, the Los Cabos region of the Southern Baja Peninsula is now home to the bustling towns of San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Snorkeling gear, boats, wave runners, kayaks, paddle boats and windsurfer boards are available for the active vacationer.

Day 10

At Sea

One last full day at sea to relax before it’s time to say goodbye to your cruise ship. Spend some time enjoying the entertainment and activity options that the Star has to offer. Relax in the spa, try a new restaurant, or just relax by the pool as you make your way back to Los Angeles past the Baja California coastline.

Day 11

Disembarkation and Depart for Home

It's time to say goodbye to California and return home with a suitcase full of souvenirs to remind you of the amazing places you’ve seen and all the new friends you’ve met on tour. If your flight is late in the day, consider a visit to the attractions in Long Beach, the world- famous Santa Monica pier at the end of Route 66, or one of the many beaches along the Los Angeles coast.

While YMT tours have been designed with our guests in mind and are not physically demanding, this tour does include walking and periods of standing during the sightseeing visits. You will also encounter steps and some uneven ground along the way, particularly at older, historical sights.
