The evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure, which is a real treat in the Emerald City. Some of the most popular sites include Pike Place Market, a landmark since 1907 where you should always keep your eyes peeled for flying fish, the iconic 605-foot-tall Space Needle, and Pioneer Square.

Crowne Plaza Seatac or similar

Day 2

Embarkation in Seattle (Departs at 4:00 PM)

After a relaxing morning in Seattle-the best place in the world to grab a cup of coffee-embark on your home away from home, NCL's stunningly remodeled Sun. (B)

Day 3

Day 4

Ketchikan, Alaska (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

Considered the "Salmon Capital of the World," this lively port city is also home to the world's largest collection of Native American totem poles, including many 19th century poles retrieved from local archaeological sites. Stroll the charming, colorful waterfront boardwalk built on stilts.

Day 5

Icy Strait Point (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Learn about native culture and history during today's port visit. Somewhat off the beaten path, Icy Strait Point will allow you to experience more of the true Alaska. For thousands of years, the Tlingit Indians have called this place home. Icy Strait Point and its port Hoonah offers travelers the chance to view wildlife like humpback whales, eagles, and brown bears, or to explore monuments to the region's fishing heritage.

Day 6

Scenic cruising Hubbard Glacier

Today, cruise along Hubbard Glacier, where if you're lucky you'll have the chance to witness the spectacle of glacial calving, when large chunks of ice crash into the water and create a gloriously booming sound the native Tlingit people called "white thunder." Hubbard is more than 70 miles long; the cliff face you travel along is six miles wide and over 300 feet high!

Day 7

Seward, Alaska (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Spend the day surrounded by the Kenai Fjords in Seward, found on Resurrection Bay on the Kenai Peninsula. Book an outing-by boat or by "flightseeing" plane-to the fjords, or just enjoy the charm of this tiny town that neighbors some of the most glorious scenery in Alaska.

Day 8

At Sea

Day 9 - 10

Cross International Date Line

Cross the International Date Line and mark a day off your calendar... you'll "lose" a day when you cross the 180th meridian separating today from tomorrow and the west from the east.

Days 11 - 12

At Sea

Day 13

Petropavlovsk, Russia (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Today you arrive in one of the oldest towns and most magical settings in Russia. Petropavlovsk is located on Avacha Bay, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and overlooked by two giant volcanoes that make the sprawling city feel small in comparison. Make the most of your day in Russia by visiting museums, feasting on local specialty's in the city's many restaurants, or simply taking a stroll and saying a hearty privyet to the people you encounter along the way. Note: Guest must purchase an NCL Shore Excursion or get a visa to visit the shore.

Days 14 & 15

At Sea

Day 16

Hakodate, Japan (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Kon'nichiwa, and welcome to Japan! Your first stop in Japan is Hakodate, named for the nearby Mt. Hakodate which overlooks the city and is very much worth a visit. Other notable spots are the Old Fort Goryokaku, a star-shaped fort built 150 years ago that has been converted into a stunning park surrounded by a moat and countless colorful trees, and the Hakodate Meijikan shopping center. Grab fun souvenirs or delectable locally made foods.

Take part in this orientation tour of Hakodate, see local landmarks, learn the rich history and drive to the top of Mount Hakodate, an extinct Volcano! $69 p/p. Please add this option at time of booking.

Day 17

At Sea

Day 18

Disembark in Yokohama, Japan (Arrives at 8:00 AM) & Tokyo City Tour

After disembarkation, we will take you on an included city tour of Tokyo. Start your day off with an included city tour of Tokyo. Visit Imperial Palace Plaza in the center of Tokyo, and walk the stunning grounds full of trees, flowers, and moats. From Kokyo Gaien National Garden in front of the Imperial Palace, enjoy views of the Nijubashi, the pair of bridges that form an entrance to the inner palace grounds. The tour continues to the picturesque and hugely important Senso-Ji Temple, Japan's oldest Buddhist temple. Finally, enjoy an informative stroll through the historic Nakamise Shopping Street. This pedestrian thoroughfare is great fun for visitors, and is the perfect place to pick up typical Japanese souvenirs such as kimonos, folding fans, and traditional snacks. Spend the evening at your leisure.

Day 19

Tokyo leisure day

Spend the final full day of the trip exploring Tokyo on your own. Tokyo is Japan's capital city and one of the world's foremost cultural and commercial centers. With famously clean streets and a fabulous subway system, it's easy to take advantage of Tokyo's innovative cuisine ranging from Michelin-starred restaurants to street food carts, beautiful public parks, fabulous shopping, and fascinating museums.
