Day 2

Miami Sightseeing and Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

This morning, see the sights of Miami on a panoramic tour. Take in the highlights of this bustling city before traveling to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, a stunning hundred-year-old mansion and National Historic Landmark that has been converted into an internationally renowned museum. Known for its rich history, architecture, gardens, and art, it is home to one of Miami’s only remaining native forests. Vizcaya’s mission is to preserve the elegant villa and engage the public in learning through the arts, history and the environment. Built between 1914 and 1922—when the owners of Vizcaya employed ten percent of Miami residents in its construction—it is one of the country’s best-preserved Gilded Age estates, when America’s wealthiest industrialists built lavish homes inspired by the great houses of Europe. Most of today will be at your leisure. Miami is well-known as a dining destination packed with sophisticated, innovative gourmet restaurants, as well as authentic, inexpensive, wonderfully flavorful local holes-in-the-wall serving ethnic specialties from all corners of the world. We encourage you to explore, and to take advantage of Miami’s unique culinary offerings before embarking on the MSC Armonia this evening. (B)

Day 4

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

A cruise to the Caribbean on an MSC ship will take you to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Located 23 miles south of Bimini, Ocean Cay is an environmental paradise and exclusive spot for vacationing in harmony with nature. You will discover splendid beaches, a vast, calm lagoon, and walking paths. This unique island also houses sea view restaurants and tiki bars, and of course Aurea Spa, which offers massages and beauty treatments in sea view cabanas.

Day 5

At Sea

Day 6

Montego Bay, Jamaica (1:00 PM – 8:00 PM)

Located along the northwest coast of Jamaica, Montego Bay is the quintessential beach town. Home to pristine white sand beaches and vibrantly blue waters, this island paradise is the perfect place to unwind. The city center is dominated by Gloucester Avenue, the main street and so-called “hip strip.” History buffs will admire Montego Bay’s 18th century Georgian style St. James Parish Church and lush tropical gardens.

Day 7

George Town, Cayman Islands (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM)

Welcome to George Town, the capital city of the glamorous Cayman Islands. Today's port boasts many exciting highlights, like the top-ranked distillery, Seven Mile Beach, and a Margaritaville. You may also decide to visit the National Museum of George Town, where you can learn about the art, cultural, and natural history of the island.

Day 8

Havana, Cuba (3:00 PM – Overnight)

Arrive in Havana for a fascinating 2-day stay. First, art meets culture on an included cultural exchange highlighting Havana’s vibrancy and introducing you to several thriving community projects. Visit the Lawton district and Muraleando, a project founded by Cuban artists in 2001 that reclaims blighted urban sites to showcase mural art, including a water tank turned art gallery. The short stop at Plaza de la Revolución highlights its historical importance. Then, enjoy views of Havana’s iconic landmarks as you continue to Fusterlandia, a community project featuring sculptures and mosaics created by internationally-acclaimed artist José Fuster.

Day 9

Havana Leisure Day (Overnight – 5:00 PM)

Spend another day immersed in the colors and culture of Havana. You are free to remain aboard the Armonia and relax on your own, or join and optional People-to-People shore excursion and make the most of your time in Havana. We recommend the Las Terrazas Cultural Exchange (additional cost). On this glimpse into Cuban culture and nature, you'll begin with a drive through Havana, including the exclusive Miramar residential district and the Rosario Mountains. Then, enjoy an included lunch at an authentic local restaurant. Find out about the Las Terrazas Social Project before visiting some key locations of this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve to see how local Cubans live in the Las Terrazas community at Plaza de la Comunidad. Learn about the health system, green medicine, and other remedies from the doctor at the medical center, honor the community’s ancestors at the House of Memory, and interact with local artists at their home studios. This optional also includes a walk down Callejón de la Moka to browse the artisans’ stalls at the Bazaar Cusco.

Day 10

Disembark the Armonia in Miami this morning and return home.
