Stockholm is a bustling capital city whose nickname “beauty on water” becomes increasingly fitting the more you explore it, which you will get to do this morning on a guided tour. See many of the city’s most notable landmarks, and take a self-guided tour of the Skansen Museum. After lunch, board the Magica. Your floating home for the next several nights is committed to comfort, elegance and art, and has earned a reputation as one of the most refined vessels on the high seas. (B)

Day 5

Copenhagen (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

During your time in the vibrant Danish capital, learn about its storied history while enjoying the cutting-edge technology that it now embraces. Make time to stroll through a few of Copenhagen’s boutiques—Scandinavian clothing and home goods are world-famous for their thoughtful, innovative, minimalist design. Guests are invited to take an optional tour of the city, including a stop at The Little Mermaid, the celebrated bronze statue perched on a rock just off the water’s edge depicting Hans Christian Anderson’s beloved heroine at the moment she becomes human.

Day 7

IJmuiden (Amsterdam), Netherlands (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Today's port city of IJmuiden was uninhabited through 1876, when it was built up to connect Amsterdam to the North Sea. It has since grown into a very nice little seaside town blessed with four harbors, sand dunes, wide beaches, and a constant supply of handsome boats to look out for from shore. Just a short distance away lies the magical city of Amsterdam. You may decide to make your way over to the charming city, or join an optional lunchtime tour of Zaanse Schans. This inviting neighborhood in the town of Zaandam is famous for its instantly recognizable windmills and green wooden houses!

Day 8

At Sea

Day 9

Brest (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)

Located at the edge of Brittany, Brest was virtually wiped out in WWII, but has bounced back spectacularly in the decades since. Now a vital port for scientific research, an estimated 60% of European ocean research either takes place or originates here. Use your free time today to learn more (and see sharks!) at the massive Oceanopolis aquarium, one of Brest’s most popular attractions. And be sure to taste the renowned mouthwatering crepes!

Day 10

At Sea

Day 11

Lisbon, Portugal (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM)

Welcome to Portugal’s hilly coastal capital! Lisbon is watched over by 7 picturesque hills whose view of an ancient city with cobblestoned streets and stately ruins combined with a modern metropolis is one of Europe’s prettiest. Make time to enjoy the variety of fresh seafood and succulent Alentejan beef local restaurants serve.

Day 13

Barcelona, Spain (2:00 PM – 8:00 PM)

Barcelona is a thoroughly modern city where Roman ruins live next door to sophisticated high-rises, innovative exhibition spaces, and one of the world’s leading sports complexes. A spectacular display of architecture, Barcelona boasts 8 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, as well as a long, sandy coastline, fabulous food, cultural and artistic exhibitions, and terrific shopping. Use your time in this fascinating port to enjoy the world-famous Las Ramblas, Gaudí's Sagrada Familia, Olympic Park, and views from Montjuic.

Among the terracotta-roofed buildings of France's oldest city lie many impressive sights, including the Cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde.
