You must have a valid U.S. passport and a visa to enter Australia. Most U.S. passport holders traveling to Australia for tourism or business purposes for less than 90 days can obtain an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). The ETA is an electronic label-free visa and can be obtained at the ETA website for a small service fee. Please visit www.eta.immi.gov.au to obtain this visa and for further information on Australia’s entry requirements. The current cost of the ETA is $20 AUD, however this is determined by the Australian government and is subject to change.


New Zealand
You must have a valid U.S. passport and submit an electronic entrance form to enter New Zealand. Most U.S. passport holders traveling to New Zealand for tourism purposes can obtain a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) online for a small service fee. Please visit https://nzeta.immigration.govt.nz to submit your form and for further information on New Zealand’s entry requirements. The current cost of the NZeTA is $47NZD, which includes the cost of the International Visitor Conservation Levy (IVL). Requirements are determined by the New Zealand government and is subject to change.

If you purchased airline tickets from YMT, a representative will welcome you at the airport and transport you to the hotel.

Seattle City Tour and Embarkation (5:00 PM)

Enjoy a morning panoramic tour of the Emerald City, arguably the crown jewel of the Pacific Northwest. Take in Seattle’s highlights like the Historic Pioneer Square, T-Mobile Park, the Space Needle, Waterfront, the Floating Bridge, Lake Union, and more from your coach. This afternoon, embark on the Oosterdam. (B)

Honolulu, Oahu (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Take the day to explore Honolulu. Perhaps visit Punchbowl Crater or Downtown Honolulu, where you can see the State Capitol and Iolani Palace. Waikiki is a great walking city, with fabulous restaurants, shopping, and a pristine beach—from which you can see Diamond Head!

Day 10

Hilo, Hawaii (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Brimming with Hawaiian tradition, Hilo takes you back to an earlier island culture. The town will charm you with its quaint buildings and unique shopping. Hilo is the flower capital of Hawaii, and gardens and blossoms are everywhere. Perhaps spend your leisure day here visiting Liliuokalani Gardens, King Kamehameha I Statue, Rainbow Falls, Akaka Falls, or Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden!

Day 11

Lahaina, Maui (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)

A traditional old whaling town, Lahaina is full of character, shops, and restaurants. It is located on the island of Maui. Known as the “Valley Isle,” this majestic island has two main peaks more than a mile high, thousands of breathtakingly beautiful waterfalls and pools, 120 miles of shoreline and more than 80 golden beaches. Be sure to make time to see the Iao Valley or Haleakala Crater.

Pago Pago, American Samoa (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Your first port of call on the other side of the world is Pago Pago. Pronounced “Pango Pango,” this island capital is surrounded by some of Polynesia’s most striking natural beauty. Lushly forested mountains rise above you, intensely blue waters lap at your feet, and friendly residents warmly greet you.

Dravuni Island, Fiji (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Dravuni is tiny, sun-soaked, and ringed with pristine white sand beaches. It is the classic desert island, save for the ample amenities and sightseeing opportunities such as snorkeling, shopping, and of course excellent dining.

Day 20

Suva, Fiji (overnight – 5:00 PM)

Suva is both the South Pacific’s largest city, and Fiji’s capital, but don’t let its cosmopolitan bonafides fool you—Suva is the perfect place to sit back and relax. An eruption of green, this hilly peninsular city is full of can’t-miss sights and experiences. Try Indonesian-Fijian cuisine; stroll through Colo-i-Suva Forest National Park; or visit the Fiji Museum, Parliament, or one of the many colonial-era buildings.

Lautoka, Fiji (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Welcome to Lautoka, nicknamed “Sugar City” because of its location right in the middle of Fiji’s sugarcane belt. Lautoka is a wonderful place to learn about the plants of the South Pacific. It has an excellent botanical garden; you might also choose to visit a sugarcane plantation to see the tall, reedy stalks up close.

Lifou, New Caledonia(8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

You'll be captivated by this stunning island’s remarkable natural beauty and still flourishing traditional Kanak culture. Perhaps the perfect beach, Esou boasts spotlessly white sand, warm, shallow water, and the cooling shade of nearby trees. When your ship lands, locals even greet you with a traditional song and dance!

Day 24

Ile des Pins, New Caledonia (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Ile des Pins, or Pine Island, is a true slice of heaven. Its miles of unspoiled white sand beaches and the warm, clear, stunningly blue waters, make it the ultimate tropical paradise. Oro Bay, Upi Bay, and Kanumera Bay are the best of the bunch.

Noumea, New Caledonia (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Called the French Riviera of the South Pacific, Noumea is full of shopping, dining, and cultural attractions. It is the perfect hybrid of French and Pacific Island cultures! The museums, art galleries, and dignified colonial buildings are even more special against the backdrop of this pristine, lush island setting. Don’t miss the wonderfully restored colonial Maison Célières, Château Hagen or the Nouméa City Hall, home of the city museum.

Disembarkation and City Tour in Sydney (7:00 AM)

Disembark this morning in Sydney and enjoy a city tour. Visit The Rocks, Sydney's birthplace; see fascinating relics and buildings of the city's turbulent past; pass the picturesque Botanic Gardens; and take in the view of the Sydney Opera House before enjoying the rest of the day at leisure. Tonight, sit down with your fellow travelers for an included farewell dinner. (D)
