Amsterdam is ripe for rambling, its compact core laced by atmospheric lanes and quarters. Enjoy a half-day city tour and see the Dam Square with the Royal Palace, New Church, the National Monument, and the Skinny Bridge across the River Amstel. (B) ✦Novotel Schiphol Airport or similar

Hamburg, Germany
Today we cross over to Germany and arrive in the afternoon in Hamburg, Germany’s second largest city with a rich history dating back over 1,000 years. (B, D) ✦Leonardo Hotel Hamburg Airport or similar

Embarkation in Hamburg, Germany
This morning, enjoy an included panoramic tour where you will get to see city hall, St.
Michael’s Church, dedicated to Archangel Michael, and “Speicherstadt,” the old warehouse district with its picturesque canals. Then transfer to the port city to board MSC Meraviglia, your floating hotel for the next 2 weeks. (B)

Day 7
Le Havre, France (8:00 AM–8:00 PM)
INCLUDED D-DAY EXPERIENCE: Today you will get the chance to explore a piece of world history during the included D-Day experience. The 360-degree film, Normandy’s 100 Days is one of the highlights, followed by views of the beach and what remains of the Mulberry Harbor at Arromanches. Then, visit the Omaha Beach Memorial Museum which showcases an important collection of uniforms, vehicles, personal objects, arms, weapons, photographs, and explanatory notes on the U.S. landings. Take a stroll down to Omaha Beach and the Memorial with time to explore and enjoy the included box lunch. The tour continues to the American Cemetery and visitor center. History comes to life as you visit Normandy’s most important sites commemorating the efforts of American and Allied forces on and after June 6, 1944.
Day 8
Southampton, United Kingdom (8:00 AM–8:00 PM)
Today’s port of call is Southampton, most prominently known as the origin point of RMS Titanic’s infamous maiden voyage to the New World. Join an optional excursion to Great Britain’s capital city of London with famous Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, home of the British Royal Family.

Today relax, unwind and enjoy the fabulous amenities aboard the brand new Meraviglia.
Day 10
La Coruña, Spain (8:00 AM–3:00 PM)
The port of La Coruña centers on a narrow peninsula that juts from Spain’s northern coast. Join an optional excursion and visit Santiago de Compostela, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its Romanesque churches.
Day 11
Lisbon, Portugal (Arrive 2:00 PM)
INCLUDED LISBON EXPERIENCE: Welcome to the capital and largest city of Portugal, and the westernmost capital city in Europe. Today we will take you on an included city tour with a local guide. Key sights include the Belem Tower, built in the 16th century and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Baixa (historic downtown), rebuilt after an earthquake in 1755. Overnight in the port of Lisbon.
Day 12
Lisbon, Portugal (Depart 1:00 PM)
Enjoy another morning in port and explore more of Lisbon at your own leisure.
Day 13
Gibraltar, British Territory (1:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
Offering views of Europe to the North and Africa to the south, Gibraltar and its 1,398-foothigh limestone rock have captivated the Western psyche for millenia.

Take advantage of all the onboard amenities, entertainment, and dining offerings once more at your own pace during another day at sea.
Day 15
Valencia, Spain (7:00 AM–3:00 PM)
Valencia is the third largest city in Spain. Some of the city’s most prominent attractions include Valencia Cathedral; the Torres de Serrans, one of twelve gates that were found along the old medieval city wall.
Day 16
Marseille, France (1:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
Located on the Mediterranean coast, Marseille is the oldest city in France and was founded in 600 BC. Among the many terracotta-roofed buildings lie many intriguing sights, including the Cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde.
Day 17
Genoa, Italy – Disembarkation & Lake Maggiore
Disembark and continue to Milan, capital of the region of Lombardy and recognized as a major world fashion and design capital. Enjoy an included panoramic tour with highlights like the Piazza del Duomo. Your last night is directly at Lake Maggiore. Enjoy a farewell dinner with your fellow travelers.
