Our tour guide was an exceptional gentleman. He was very attentive to everyone. His knowledge of the places we went, history and social customs of the people was outstanding. The "step on guides" were also outstanding. My travel companions were very friendly and watched out for others. The YMT staff was always courteous and returned calls in a timely manner. For me this was a trip of a life time. I think the trip and tours should have cost more. I certainly got my monies worth and then some in tour accommodations, meals, transportation, excursions, and laughter, and new friends!

YMT plans these vacations down to the very last detail. Happened to mention that my spouse's birthday would occur during this trip, and he was surprised by a light celebration with a cake that was enough for all of the members during lunch. We truly enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot more on the history, culture and people of the various cities in which we visited.

A great trip overall.

"I believe my China trip is my 5th trip with YMT and I have another one, visiting the state parks of the golden west in May. In short, I love traveling with YMT. Whatever is printed on the YMT brochure is what I expect and receive and much more!!!! I've also been traveling yearly with YMT for 3-4 years now. China has changed tremendously from what I have read in the past to today. But my visit, though short, fulfilled my longtime dream of setting foot on Chinese soil. YMT has made this dream come true and has given me a better insight in understanding folks in this part of the world. I have thoroughly enjoyed my visit and am thinking of visiting China, the Tibet area, the Silk Route area and the southern part as well. I wouldn't mind visiting the big cities again. I commend YMT in adding Legendary China and the Yangtze River Cruise in your itinerary. In addition I commend Jack and Jordan to YMT and CITS for their absolutely great service, personal attention to all of us, their sincere attitude, their knowledge of history and dealing people (mostly seniors) like us. I didn't feel foreign to them and vice versa. We all enjoyed being with them, their jokes and humor. On the last day, they walked us all the way to the international gate to bid us farewell. I thought that was very thoughtful."

Mr. Lui, our tour guide, made this trip go very well. He is a true professional and dealt well with all the tour participants. He was up early mornings and was the last one to get a good sleep. He coordinated all our "step-on" guides and all of our flights, activities, etc. The trip was the most aggressive one we have ever undertaken, but we did see a lot and did do a lot. I would recommend the tour to anyone who wants a true China experience! The coordination of every aspect of this trip was excellent. We have never had a bad tour guide with your trips. We think you get a lot for the price of the tour.
