After your overnight flight, arrive in the “City of Light.” Guests who have booked their air with YMT will be greeted at the airport and transported to their hotel. Tonight, enjoy an included welcome dinner at your hotel. (D)

Day 3
Paris City Tour
Today tour Paris, one of the world’s best loved cities! Take in the sights as your motor coach ventures past Bercy, home to France’s Finance Ministry and Bercy Village; the Bastille fortress; and the Marais. You'll also pass the Latin Quarter, the St. Germain area, the Louvre Pyramid, and the Opéra Garnier. Finally, see the Champs- Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe, the Invalides, the Trocadéro, and the famous Eiffel Tower. (B)

Day 4
Reims via Versailles
This morning, travel to the Palace of Versailles, where the Sun King and Marie Antoinette once reigned. Take a self-guided audio tour through the palace; see the Hall of Mirrors and the Grand Apartment before enjoying lunch and free time on your own. Continue to Reims, where you will enjoy a panoramic city tour, where you will see Tau Palace, Porte de Marte and Carnegie Library. (B)

Day 5
Reims and Nancy
Reims is in the heart of France’s legendary Champagne region, and is one of just 301 chalky-soiled villages whose sparkling white wines are allowed the exclusive title of champagne. Stop by the picturesque Taittinger Champagne Cellar for a tasting and tour. Founded in 1734, it is one of Reims' finest champagne houses. Continue to Nancy, where you can enjoy the evening on your own. (B)

Day 6
Nancy and Dijon
Your day begins with a panoramic tour of Nancy. One of France’s most charming cities, Nancy is well known for its 18th century architecture including place Stanislas, and place de la Carrière. In addition, Nancy is considered an epicenter of the Art Nouveau movement. Spend the evening in Dijon. (B, D)

Day 7
Dijon, Beaune and Embarkation in Lyon (Departs at 6:00 PM)
Continue to the village of Beaune where two highlights of Burgundy await. Explore the world of France’s favorite condiment, Dijon Mustard. Then, visit the Hotel Dieu, one of the finest Renaissance buildings in the world and a fascinating historic museum.Continue to Lyon where the crew of the A-ROSA Stella waits to greet you with a customary rose for your cabin. Settle into your room and explore the ship before dinner. In the evening, the Stella will leave the port and take you on a panoramic cruise of Old Town Lyon. (B)
Day 8
Chalon-sur-Saône (9:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
After enjoying the morning on the river, your first stop is Chalon-sur-Saône. The town where photography was born, is full of museums, historic cathedrals, and lush vineyards.
Day 9
Mâcon (2:00 AM - 2:00 PM), Trévoux (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
Wake up in Mâcon, where much of France’s best chardonnay is produced. You can’t leave without sampling snails cooked in a flavorful combination of butter, parsley, and plenty of garlic. After a short stop in Trévoux, you’ll arrive in Lyon.
Day 10
Lyon (10:00 PM Night Before - 2:00 PM)
Wake up in Lyon and explore this beautiful city while the Stella stays in port. The old town Vieux Lyon is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that features Renaissance houses and the medieval Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste. Lyon is also known for its high-quality silk products and the Basilica of Notre- Dame de Fourvière.
Day 11
Châteauneuf-du-Pape (10:30 AM - 11:00 PM) and Avignon (1:30AM - 6:30 PM)
After a stop in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this afternoon we will arrive in Avignon, which is full of magnificent churches, art, and architecture. In addition, the city is ringed by incredibly preserved 800-year-old stone ramparts erected to keep the plague and invaders out during the turbulent Middle Ages.
Day 12
Avignon (3:00 AM - 12:00 PM) and Arles (3:30 PM - 9:00 PM)
After a morning in Avignon, continue to the colorful town of Arles, which you’ll be able to recognize from some of the world’s most famous paintings; Vincent van Gogh painted Arles in 187 of his works. Long before Van Gogh, the Romans had discovered Arles’ beauty and made it their provincial capital, and the town still has several impressive Roman monuments. The earliest – the arena, the Roman theatre, and the cryptoporticus – date back to the 1st century B.C.
Day 13
Viviers and La Voulte-sur- Rhône (8:00 AM - 1:30 PM)
Enjoy your morning in picturesque Viviers. Located in the Rhône Ardeche region, the beautiful walled city is home to a cathedral dating back to the 12th century and an ancient bridge dating back to the 3rd century. Your next stop is La Voulte-sur-Rhône, a tiny town beloved by paleontologists for its extraordinary collection of fossilized Jurassic sea life.

Day 14
Disembark in Lyon and Depart for Home
