Welcome to New York - we have an exciting day planned for you and the best part is - it is included! Sit back and relax during a 1-hour boat tour and enjoy unparalleled views of Manhattan’s iconic skyline and landmarks, including the Freedom Tower, the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. In the afternoon, visit the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, a place of remembrance, which tells the story of the events of 9/11 through artifacts that range in scale from the monumental to the intimate, as well as through first-person accounts and multimedia displays. Another full day in New York - join the optional shore excursion and discover the Big Apple on a city tour including the Empire State Building, Central Park, the Rockefeller Center, and more.

Enjoy 2 full days in Bermuda, a British Overseas Territory with a temperate climate and pink sand beaches. Made famous by its namesake shorts, popular sightseeing includes the charming capital, Hamilton. Founded in 1788, it is a picturesque harbor city graced with shops, museums, galleries, and gardens.

Recreate the glory of past days as you sail across the Atlantic Ocean and relive the Golden Age of Trans-Oceanic travel

Overnight in the Port of Ponta Delgada, Azores (8:00 AM-1:00 PM)

After a few days at sea, you'll reach Madeira, a volcanic island belonging to Portugal and located in the mid-Atlantic Ocean. The mountainous isle, also coined "The Flower Isle," has been a popular European destination for years. It is considered the first territorial discovery of the Portuguese, who settled Madeira in 1420. Arrive in the island's capital and port, Funchal, which got its name from the native funcho (fennel) plant, which grows on the hills surrounding the bay. This idyllic island is perfect for exploring with its beautiful beaches, stunning lava-formed landscapes and lush, green forests. Sampling the famed Madeira wines is also an absolute must!

Lisbon, Portugal

Welcome to the capital and largest city of Portugal, and the westernmost capital city in Europe. Key sights of this city include the Belem Tower, built in the 16th century and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Baixa (historic downtown), rebuilt after an earthquake in 1755. Tonight, you'll overnight in the port of Lisbon.

Depart Lisbon (6:00 AM)

St. After an overnight stop in port of Lisbon, your cruise continues through the Mediterranean Sea.

Day 18

Málaga, Spain (7:00 AM–2:00 PM)

Founded nearly 3,000 years ago, Málaga, located on Spain’s Costa del Sol, was an important part of the Roman Empire as a center for both commerce and culture before being dominated by the Moors.

Day 19

Valencia, Spain (9:00 AM–3:00 PM

Valencia is the third largest city in Spain. Some of the city’s most prominent attractions include Valencia Cathedral; the Torres de Serrans, one of twelve gates that were found along the old medieval city wall. .

Day 20

Marseille, France(12:00 PM–6:00 PM)

Admire the terracotta-roofed buildings and intriguing sights of Marseille, including the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de la Garde and Parc Longchamp with its beautiful palace.

Day 21

Genoa, Italy (9:00 AM) to Nice, France

Today we disembark and continue to Nice. After Nice, visit San Remo along the way. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the glamorous capital of French Riviera. See Promenade of Anglais and the Notre Dame de Nice. Then explore Nice’s Old Town and stop at "marché aux fleurs" the flower market. (D)

Sightseeing in Monaco

Travel to Monaco, the world's second smallest country! Marvel at the old stone Monaco Cathedral, Princess Grace's final resting place; soak in the city's aura of wealth and glamour during the included city tour; and discover the luxurious Monte Carlo and its world renowned F1 Circuit all before returning to Nice. Yangtze River cruise ships: Victoria Cruises' Victoria Jenna. All on board accommodation is superior cabin (Victoria Jenna) with private facilities. All of our tours feature cruises aboard the Victoria Jenna. Victoria Cruises have an excellent reputation and specialize in serving North American guests and, like YMT, are members of the United States Tour Operators Association. The Victoria Jenna takes up to 266 guests and ship facilities include 2 restaurants, 4 elevators, 2 lounges, 3 bars, a gym, library, and a beauty salon. Ask your travel consultant for the ship fact sheet for more information. Please note that the river cruises have a recommended additional crew gratuity of $25 p/p USD which is additional and will be added to your on board account.

Activity level: Some of the sightseeing on this tour requires extended periods of walking and standing, walking over rough or uneven ground, climbing steps, several airplane flights, getting on and off boats and buses and generally navigating busy tourist sites. While this shouldn’t pose a challenge to most guests, please consider before booking that this is an active tour.
 
Included meals: Hotel breakfasts will generally be a mix of Chinese and international dishes. All lunches and dinners stated in the itinerary will be in local restaurants (eg. outside the hotel) and will be Chinese dishes. In Beijing and Shanghai, western style food is generally available (at your own cost); however in other areas, availability of western style food may be very limited. The Yangtze River cruise restaurants can be buffet or waiter service with Chinese and some international food.
