Back in Cologne, continue by land eastbound to the beautiful cities of Weimar, Erfurt and Dresden. Marvel at the beautifully conserved and restored architecture of the area and try the local cuisine, perhaps the famed “Thuringian Bratwurst” sold by street vendors. The final destination will be Germany’s capital Berlin. Enjoy a full day of guided sightseeing of this once divided city and its neighboring city of Potsdam, site of the Allied conferences, before it is time bid farewell.
