Day 6

Los Angeles to San Diego

Let the next stage of your journey begin! Leave Los Angeles this morning, driving through Orange County en route to beautiful San Diego. Arrive in California’s southernmost city early afternoon, in time for a tour of the coastal city’s highlights. Day 7

San Diego and Embarkation of ms Oosterdam (5:00 PM)

Spend the day taking in beautiful San Diego at your leisure before boarding the Oosterdam this evening.

Day 8

At Sea

Day 9

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (10:00 AM–6:00 PM)

The jewel of the Baja Peninsula is famous for world-class sport fishing, the iconic El Arco, a naturally occurring limestone arch, and high-end resorts and exclusive gated communities. Once sought out as safe harbor for pirates, Cabo San Lucas is now the perfect place to dine al fresco or take a barefoot stroll across the peaceful white sand beach.

Day 10

Mazatlán, Mexico (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

Utilizing its prime coastal location, Mazatlán was developed into a thriving commercial seaport by German immigrants in the mid-19th century to import equipment for the nearby gold and silver mines. The German influence created a very unique hybrid culture: the local music style, “banda,” is a distinctive variation of Bavarian folk music, and German immigrants founded the now world famous Pacifico brewery in 1900.

Day 11

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (8:00 AM–9:00 PM)

Puerto Vallarta is the quintessential Mexican resort town, overflowing with the charm of the old country. Narrow cobblestone streets lined with shops and galleries provide perfectly shaded patios where guests indulge in authentic carne asada to the sounds of local mariachi bands. Bargain for one-of-a-kind souvenirs, or wander the 25-mile stretch of golden beaches along Banderas Bay.

Day12-13

Day 14

Disembarkation in San Diego (7:00 AM) and Depart for Home (B)
