Welcome to Nashville, the "World Country Music Capital!" Guests who booked air with YMT will be greeted by a YMT representative and transferred to their hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Discover Music City and all it has to offer. In a city filled with music and rich with history, there is so much to see and do. Experience Nashville's most famous landmarks and iconic sites, including the Historic Downtown District and "Honky Tonk Row," Riverfront Park, the Tennessee State Capitol, Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, the Parthenon, Vanderbilt University and Music Row. After lunch on your own, we head to the Grand Ole Opry House, which debuted in 1974. Experience a fully-guided backstage, behind-the-scenes, dressing-room tour of the Grand Ole Opry House, where the world's longest-running live radio show is still performed. Walk in the footsteps of country music's legends and get an exclusive behind the scenes look at the world famous show.

This morning we head to Lynchburg for a tour of the Jack Daniel's distillery. The oldest working distillery in the US, is located in the center of a "dry country," where alcohol cannot be sold. See first hand how Tennessee whiskey is carefully crafted and hear how Jack Daniel's discovered the clear iron-free spring which was ideal for fashioning his smooth namesake whiskey. Hear stories of the distillery's past and learn how Jack's whiskey became famous world over. We return to Nashville where the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Say goodbye to Nashville as you journey to Memphis, "Home of the King of Rock n' Roll." Named after the ancient Egyptian Nile Capital, Memphis is a mecca for music fans. Home to Sun Studios and Stax Records, visitors come from all around the world to visit the city that practically invented the blues, soul, and Rock n' Roll. Enjoy the evening at leisure before you start your discovery into Elvis' eclectic life.

Every music lover must take the ultimate Rock 'n' Roll pilgrimage! Explore Graceland, the main residence of Elvis Presley. When Elvis Presley was a young boy, he promised his parents that he would make a lot of money and buy them the finest house in town, putting an end to years of struggle. For Presley, Graceland was the fulfillment of that childhood promise. Over the 20 years Elvis lived here, Graceland created countless memories for the many friends and relatives who were a part of his life. Because Graceland was so close to Elvis' heart, it also holds deep meaning to his legions of fans from around the world. For many, the Elvis Presley mansion embodies the American Dream - a poor small town boy who reached super stardom and changed pop culture and the world forever. As the front door to Elvis Presley's mansion opens, you are taken on an unforgettable journey into the private world of an American legend. Explore the famous Jungle Room with its green shagged carpets, Polynesian feel and exotically carved woods, the trophy building, meditation garden, and much more.

This morning we leave Memphis behind and make our way to Jackson, named after Andrew Jackson, the seventh President of the United States. See the Old Capitol Museum, the State Capitol and the Governor's Mansion while on a highlights tour of Mississippi's capital. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 7

New Orleans

As we make our way to New Orleans this morning, we stop at Oak Alley Plantation. Built over 150 years ago when the Southern sugar industry was flourishing, stately homes and plantations were built on the banks of the Mississippi. Many of these historic homes have now perished, but Oak Alley remains a testament to the struggles and triumphs of the South. Enjoy a guided tour of the Big House, see the exhibits, the blacksmith shop, and enjoy the beautiful grounds of this historic home. As we make our way to New Orleans, you'll see the French Quarter with Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral, and colorful Bourbon Street. Witness the destruction remaining from Katrina in the Ninth Ward then travel on St. Charles Avenue, following the Mardi Gras route.

New Orleans

You are in for a special treat this morning! Enjoy brunch at The Court of Two Sisters Restaurant while listening to the jazz music being played by their jazz trio band. The restaurant is not only known for its lavish food but also for its rich history. The charm gates at the entrance are said to have been brought in from Spain specifically for Court of Two Sisters. Legend says that Queen Isabella of Spain had them blessed so that their charm would pass onto anyone who touched them. The rest of the day is at leisure or you can join your fellow travelers on a real life adventure – a guided boat ride through the swamps and bayous of Louisiana!

Depart New Orleans for Home

It is time to bid farewell to newfound friends and fellow travelers and return home.

National Parks of the Golden West Tour


America’s National Park System is the envy of the world, and on our 14-day National Parks of the Golden West Tour, experience its magnificence when you visit 9 different US National Parks.  Most people only get to see one or two of these parks in their lifetime; seeing so many of them on one tour makes it an exceptional opportunity.

Our tour begins with your arrival in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada with leisure time to enjoy the endless entertainment opportunities. Take a chance at a card game or one-armed bandit, visit a show or simply relax at your hotel. Then the tour is off to see Natural Wonders and it is only befitting to start with a bang: one of the seven Natural Wonders of the world- the majestic Grand Canyon National Park. Enjoy an overnight stay inside the park giving you the opportunity to witness this awe-inspiring landscape both at sunset and sunrise.  Next, discover the sacred Monument Valley  Navajo Tribal Park the Navajo Nation’s equivalent to a national park.  Travel west to visit Zion National Park with its massive sandstone cliffs of cream, pink and red en route to the astonishingly red glowing Bryce Canyon National Park showing off it’s intricate limestone rock formations created by erosion called “hoodoos."  The journey then heads northeast through picturesque Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks enjoying the stunning vistas of naturally formed sandstone cliffs, arches, canyons, domes and bridges throughout.  

Headed west, we travel into Utah’s capitol, Salt Lake City  and see the lake that gives this city its name, the largest salt water lake in the Western Hemisphere, the unique Great Salt Lake. with it’s nearby The Bonneville Salt Flats, famous as a site for land speed records. Majestic Lake Tahoe awaits with 72 miles of pristine shorelines making it the largest alpine lake in North America. From here it is on to California and another jewel in the National Park system: Yosemite National Park. Witness its extraordinary landscapes of granite cliffs, plunging waterfalls, towering trees, pristine streams and abundant wildlife.  Continue through Kings Canyon National Parks and view the famed ancient giant redwoods, some of which tower over 300 feet. Weather permitting, we travel through Death Valley National Park, the lowest point of elevation in North America on the way back into Las Vegas to depart for home full of memories to share for a lifetime.
