First Hotel or similar

Day 3

Copenhagen, Denmark and Embarkation

Enjoy a city tour in the morning and visit the colorful Nyhavn canal district, the Amalienborg Palace Courtyard, and take a picture of the Little Mermaid Statue. Afterwards you will be transferred to the port, where you will board the Breakaway, your floating hotel for the next two weeks. (B)

Day 4

At Sea

As the Breakaway cruises from the Baltic Sea to the North Sea, take advantage of all the amenities on board at your own pace.

Day 5

Amsterdam, Netherlands (7:00 AM–4:00 PM)

Welcome to the "Venice of the Netherlands." Explore Amsterdam on your own or on one of the organized shore excursions: visit the Anne Frank House where Anne and her family lived in hiding during World War II or the Van Gogh Museum with its vast collection of paintings, or cruise the Grachtengordel district.

Day 6

Southampton, England (9:00 AM–8:00 PM)

Today's port of call is Southampton, which is located on the southern coast of England at an inlet where the rivers Test, Itchen, and Hamble flow into the sea. The port is perhaps most prominently known as the origin point of RMS Titanic's infamous maiden voyage to the New World. Archaeological finds suggest that the area has been inhabited since the Stone Age and was an important trade center over the centuries due to its strategic location on the English Channel and proximity to France and continental Europe. Artifacts in Southampton's Old Town, including a long stretch of unbroken medieval defensive walling and the 800 year old Bargate, serve as a fascinating reminder of the city's rich history. Join an optional excursion to Britain's capital city of London with famous Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, home of the British Royal Family.

Day 7

At Sea

Today relax, unwind and enjoy the fabulous amenities aboard the Breakaway.

Day 8

Cork, Ireland (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

Ireland's third largest city is a wonderful walking city built on the River Lee. Visit Blarney Castle, one of Ireland's oldest and most historic castles. Explore and perhaps even climb the 125 steps of the spiral staircase, perhaps kiss the Blarney Stone, so you can, as tradition says, acquire the "Gift of the Gab." Or join another shore excursion that lets you experience Ireland's beautiful scenery, charming towns, flavors, and musical tradition.

Day 9 & 10

At Sea

As the Breakaway leaves the Celtic Sea behind and sails south into the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy two days at sea and live the "Freestyle Cruising" lifestyle.

Day 11

Ponta Delgada, Azores (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

Today we visit Ponta Delgada, the largest city in the Azores, a group of nine volcanic islands belonging to Portugal. Located in the mid-Atlantic Ocean, 930 miles west of the Portuguese capital of Lisbon, the Azores offer a mild climate along with miles of sandy beaches rimmed with vineyards and flower fields. Boasting many impressive churches, convents, and majestic white houses, visitors are constantly reminded of Ponta Delgada's wealthy and illustrious past, when the port was a crucial staging post between Europe and the New World during the Age of Discovery in the 15th and 16th centuries.

Day 12-16

Transatlantic Crossing

Recreate the glory of past days as you sail across the Atlantic Ocean and relive the Golden Age of Trans-Oceanic travel.

Day 17

Disembarkation in New York, and Atlantic City

Today the Breakaway arrives in New York. After disembarkation, discover the Big Apple during an included panoramic tour of the major sights including the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, the Chrysler Building, Central Park, and many more. Then continue to Atlantic City, the entertainment capital of Jersey Shore. Visit one of the casinos, stroll along the beachfront, or enjoy a show.

The Claridge Hotel or similar

Day 18

Philadelphia and Washington D.C.

Continue to Philadelphia, the cradle of American liberty, for a panoramic tour - see Independence National Historic Park, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and more. Then travel through picturesque Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Overnight close to Washington D.C.

Marriott Falls Church or similar

Day 19

Washington D.C.

Welcome to the nation's capital! Enjoy a half-day city tour and take in views of the monuments and historic locations as you learn all about the history and trivia that surrounds Washington D.C. The afternoon is at leisure - join one of the optional tours or wander off to explore this fascinating city on your own.

Ultimate Hawaii Tour with Pearl Harbor Experience

Brand New in 2018, our 13-day, four-island Ultimate Hawaii Tour with Pearl Harbor Experience is packed with value and amazing sights and experiences. You’ll visit all four main islands, Oahu, Kauai, Maui and Hawaii (also known as “The Big Island”) to discover their unique features and enjoy included sightseeing and events on each of them, while carefully guided by one of our experienced Polynesian Tour Directors.

With an extensive Pearl Harbor experience, our tour includes a full day to learn about the events that brought the USA into WWII and ultimately the events that brought the war to a close. Visit the USS Arizona Memorial and explore the exhibit galleries at the Pearl Harbor visitor center, where you will also watch a short film. Continue to the battleship Missouri, where the Japanese signed the instrument of surrender to General Macarthur at the end of the War. And to close this day of historic insight and reflection, there will be a drive through the military Cemetery of the Pacific, situated in the Punchbowl Crater.

Also included on Oahu is our full day island tour where we’ll take you away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and show you more of this diverse landscape where some highlights will include the famous surfing beaches of the North Shore, the village of Haleiwa and the Dole Pineapple Plantation.

All your inter-island flights on Hawaiian Airlines are included and next stop after Oahu is the island of Kauai where you’ll witness stunning landscapes with every turn.  Have your camera ready to capture Opaekaa Falls; the Wailua River, during a leisurely boat cruise and the romantic Fern Grotto. The hanging ferns and tropical foliage will leave you speechless and you may even catch a glimpse of a wedding taking place.

The “Valley Isle,” known as Maui, is your next island to explore. We’ll take you to the quaint town old whaling town of Lahaina that will spoil you with art galleries and unique shops, a true delight to stroll around. You’ll stay in the resort of Kaanapali, which during the months of December to April is one of the best places in the world to spot migrating humpback whales, right from the beachfront.

Your last island-hop will take you to the “big island” of Hawaii. This is home to Volcanoes National Park where you’ll see a smoking and steaming volcano that exists today and even get the chance to walk through a giant extinct lave tube. On the final evening in Kona we invite you to join your fellow travelers and new found friends at the King Kamehameha’s Farewell Feast, a Hawaiian themed evening with dinner, entertainment and an open bar,  a fitting way to end this vacation of a lifetime.
