Singapore

Today's city tour starts with a drive through Little India with stalls o ering everything from Saris, to aromatic spices, to intricate ornaments. Drive by the City Hall, the famous Raffles Hotel, and the statue of the Merlion, Singapore’s enduring symbol. The tour ends with a visit to the Botanic Gardens, home to the world’s largest orchid collection. (B)

Embarkation in Singapore

Transfer to the port of Singapore to board the ms Westerdam, your floating hotel for the next 17 days. (B)

Day 6

At Sea

Enjoy a day at sea and explore what the ms Westerdam has to offer. Choose from the many activities like the BBC Earth Experience.

Day 7

Ko Samui, Thailand (8:00 AM–4:00 PM)

Welcome to Ko Samui, a tropical island situated on the East Coast of Thailand, lined with coconut palm trees and magnificent white beaches. Explore an incredible Buddhist culture - from numerous colored temples to antique statues.

Day 8 & 9

Laem Chabang (Bangkok), Thailand (8:00 AM –4:00 PM next day)

Bangkok is a city of contrasts and you have two days in port to discover all that it has to o er: marvel at the glorious golden temples, catch a tuk tuk in the bustling Chinatown, or take a longtail boat through floating markets. Food is another of Bangkok's highlights, from local dishes served at humble street stalls to haute cuisine at romantic rooftop restaurants along the Chao Phraya River.

Day 10

Sihanoukville, Cambodia (8:00 AM –9:00 PM)

Welcome to Cambodia's most important port, the coastal city of Sihanoukville with its white-sand beaches. Relax at one of the local beaches, stroll one of the locals markets, or take a trip to the small archipelago of one of the off-shore islands!

Day 11

At Sea

After leaving Thailand and Cambodia behind, enjoy a day at sea. The daily newsletter outlines various shipboard activities and the ship’s experienced crew is at your disposal to help with suggestions.

Day 12

Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam (6:00 AM–6:00 PM)

Today's port is a buzzing, cosmopolitan city and a true hub of Vietnam. Formerly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City offers a combination of old and new, with well-preserved colonial structures, war relics from the Vietnam War, as well as sleek skyscrapers, vibrant markets, and expansive shopping malls.

Day 13

Nha Trang, Vietnam (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

Enjoy a day at one of Vietnam's beach resorts. Surrounded on all three sides by mountain ranges, Nha Trang offers picturesque vistas and a cosmopolitan center with plenty of dining and shopping opportunities.

At Sea

After exciting days, lean back and relax aboard your ship. How about a visit at the Greenhouse Spa & Salon?

Day 15

Da Nang (Hue), Vietnam (7:00 AM–11:00 PM)

Da Nang is home to the famous China Beach and has one of the most beautiful stretches of beaches in central Vietnam. You may also explore Hué, established as the capital of uni ed Vietnam in 1802 and the political, cultural, and religious center under the Nguyen dynasty until 1945. Marvel at the remains of the "Forbidden Purple City."

Day 16

At Sea

Reminisce on your exciting visits as your ship makes its way the next port stop. Explore one of many dining choices aboard your ship.

Day 17 & 18

Ha Long Bay, Vietnam (7:00 AM –5:00 PM next day)

Welcome to Ha Long Bay, known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped by rainforests. Junk boat tours and sea kayak expeditions give you the chance to sail past islands named for their shapes, including Stone Dog and Teapot islands. If history draws you, head 60 miles west to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam for 1,000 years. Rich in native and French colonial influences in architecture, it has been called the “Paris of Asia."

Day 19

Sanya, China (10:00 AM–6:00 PM)

China's premier beach community, Sanya, is a tropical, modern resort city, that offers a stunning coastline, beautiful beaches, and an abundance of shopping opportunities.

Day 20

At Sea

One more day at sea before your cruise comes to an end. Make sure to check out all amenities aboard before you depart for your land tour.

Day 21

Disembark in Hong Kong, China

After disembarkation this morning, enjoy an included tour of Hong Kong, a British colony until 1997 when it was transferred to China. Today it is an important business center and one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities where East truly meets West. Take a ride on the iconic Star Ferry crossing Victoria Harbor and then on one of the world's steepest funicular railways, the Peak Tram with spectacular views of the skyline, the harbor, and green hillsides. The tour continues to the famous shing village of Aberdeen with an included Sampan (boat) ride and then nally to Stanley, a popular market town on the south side of Hong Kong Island.

Hong Kong, China Leisure Day

Enjoy a full day in Hong Kong at leisure or choose one of the optional excursions: Discover the colorful Kowloon Markets or the unspoiled countryside and lush green valleys of Lantau Island. (B)
