Killarney, Ireland.
Tourists heading to Europe on vacation will not want to miss the opportunity to visit Ireland, as it is full of history and beautiful landscapes that would make a great backdrop to a perfect getaway. Killarney, in County Kerry, is a great place to stop for its attractions, nightlife and more.

Summertime is when Killarney thrives the most. Not only is there an influx of visitors, but there is plenty to do around town, including the annual SummerFest music fair. Irish and international acts perform at the event and, in the past, have included Kris Kristofferson, Pink, K.T. Tunstall, Snow Patrol, Bryan Adams and many more.

Nightlife is quite vivacious in the summer as well, as the swelling population pours into many clubs around the city at all evenings of the week.

Those who want to go sight-seeing can check out Killarney National Park, home of the Lakes of Killarney. In 1981, it was named a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and features the Muckross Estate and Ross Castle, two historical structures situated among a beautiful natural landscape.
