Coronavirus Update (March 2)

In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the elevated travel restrictions, government advisements, and most importantly, to ensure the safety of our guests, YMT Vacations is extending our temporary suspension of global operations for travel through April 30, 2021.

If your tour was scheduled to depart prior to April 30, 2021 and has now been suspended, YMT will provide a Future Travel Credit (FTC) for 100% of your cruise, river cruise, land and optional tour payments. This credit may be used on any future YMT Vacation for two years from the date of issue.*

You may either rebook now and change your travel dates or destination to any trip without penalty**, or you may elect to hold your FTC until you are ready to book your vacation.

If you decide to move your FTC to an unsuspended a 2021 departure, we will honor your 2020 pricing. ***

*If you purchased air through YMT we will provide a Future Travel Credit (FTC) for the cost of the airfare less the applicable airline penalties. For select Alaska Cruise departure dates the FTC may only be used on another YMT Vacations Holland America Cruise Line (HAL) Alaska cruise due to HAL policies. For select Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) departures the FTC may only be used on another YMT Vacations NCL cruise due to NCL policies.

**Deposits and final payments remain non-refundable. Cancellation penalties refer to applicable cancellation fees within final payment, provided in the form of a Future Travel Credit (FTC). Cancellation penalties exclude Oberammergau and all River Cruises. Air penalties and charges may apply. Your FTC is set to expire 2 years from date of issue. The final value will be less any credits you may receive directly from our vendors. Cruise tour date changes are based on Cruise line policies.

*** Seasonal pricing and eligible promotions for the new tour or cruise will apply. If you choose a tour or departure that is more expensive than the original, you are responsible for the difference in price; if the tour or departure is less expensive than the original, a FTC will be issued for the difference. Please note however, you are responsible for any airline penalties imposed due to trip changes and/or cancellations.

Alaska & Canadian Maritimes 2021 Cruise Update (March 2)

Holland America Cruise Line (HAL) recently announced the suspension of all 2021 Alaska Cruises on the Noordam because of the Canadian Transport Ministry’s Interim Order that closed Canadian ports and waters to passenger vessels. As a result, we are suspending our May through September 2021 Alaska Cruise Tours on the Noordam.

We are in touch with HAL regarding guest reservations. This is a developing situation that we are addressing as quickly as possible. We will be reaching out to all booked guests to review their options over the next few weeks, contacting guests on our closest-in departure dates first.

We regret this situation and we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. Please note that we are experiencing high call volume but we will do our best to respond in a timely manner.
