Your vacation begins on an overnight flight to Santiago, Chile.

Day 2

Arrive in Santiago, Chile

Welcome to Santiago, Chile! If you purchased airline tickets from YMT Vacations, a friendly YMT representative will welcome you at the airport and transport you to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy. This evening when you'll join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner. (D)

Day 3

Valparaíso, Viña del Mar & Casablanca Valley, Chile

This morning head west to the coast and explore Valparaiso, a UNESCO World Heritage site on a panoramic city tour. Enjoy lunch on your own before continuing on to Viña del Mar—aka the “Garden City”—complete with lush gardens and parks, end your in "Plaza Vergara" where you'll have time to do some shopping.

Late this afternoon on your return to the hotel you'll stop in Casablanca Valley where you can immerse your taste-buds at Viña Casas Del Bosque during a wine tasting. Dinner is included this evening, relax and enjoy sharing memories with your fellow travelers. (B, D)

Day 4

Santiago, Chile & Embarkation (Departs at 5:00 PM)

Explore Chile’s capital city with a morning panoramic tour of Santiago, travel downtown to "Alameda" the colorful Main Avenue and home to the San Francisco Church; see "Plaza de Armas" central market and the Bellavista (Bohemian District), end your city tour with panoramic views of Santiago and the Andes Mountains from San Cristobal Hill. This afternoon board your cruise in San Antonio. (B)

Coquimbo (La Serena), Chile (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Enjoy strolling through the quaint English Quarter of La Serena, the capital city of Coquimbo, or visit the Cruz del Tercer Milenio religious landmark museum that offers spectacular views. Coquimbo is known for its selection of fresh seafood which is readily accessible for those with an appetite.

Days 6 & 7

General San Martin (Pisco), Peru (6:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Renowned for its grape brandy of the same name, the Pisco region offers travelers plenty of opportunity for samples with its many distilleries and vineyards. Take in some breathtaking scenery by visiting the Paracas National Reserve on the coast or observe the various groups of wildlife on the Ballestas Islands, often called the Galápagos of Peru.

Days 9-11

Callao (Lima), Peru (8:00 AM on Day 9 - 10:00 AM on Day 11)

You’ll have ample time to venture through Lima during this 3-day port stop in Callao. Take in the pre-Columbian ruins, renowned museums, and array of churches and cathedrals. If shopping and tasting authentic cuisine is more your thing, there will be plenty of opportunities while you’re viewing the sights.

Manta, Ecuador (5:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Wander through the picturesque city of Manta with its many museums and parks or head to the plethora of beaches in this seaside town. Local eateries and shopping are sure to be a part of your day exploring.

Fuerte Amador, Panama (8:00 AM - 4:00 AM Next Day)

Enjoy multiple highlights of Panama that are easily accessible from this port. Visit the Biomuseo natural history museum, take a taxi to the metropolis of Panama City, or shop the Artisans Market Shop near the ruins of Panamá Viejo.

Day 16

Cruising Panama Canal

Cross over one of humankind’s most impressive engineering feats—the legendary Panama Canal. This 51-mile artificial waterway through the tiny nation of Panama connects the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean, and fulfilled explorers’ centuries-long dream when it was completed in 1914. Enjoy this design marvel as you pass through its long series of locks.

Oranjestad, Aruba (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Travelers can explore this exquisite Dutch Caribbean island by visiting sites like the Antilla Shipwreck landmark and the Butterfly Farm, or simply relaxing on one of the stunning beaches by the sparkling blue waters. The unique Divi Divi trees will provide refreshing breezes throughout your excursion.
