If you purchased airline tickets from YMT, a representative will meet you at the airport and transport you to the hotel. This evening, you’ll meet your fellow travelers and learn about the exciting days ahead over a welcome dinner (included). (D)

Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Athens. You’ll see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and Hadrian’s Arch, as well as the Parliament, the monument of the Unknown Soldier, and Constitution Square. You’ll then discover the most famous site in Athens—the Acropolis. At the top, see the stunning 2,500 year old Parthenon Temple which was built to honor the goddess Athena. Finally, you will visit the new Acropolis Museum. The afternoon is free for you to explore on your own. (B)

After a morning at leisure, your private coach will transfer you to the port of Piraeus, and you’ll board the Norwegian Pearl to begin your cruise. Get settled into your cabin ahead of an evening departure. (B, D)

Famous for the vista of its whitewashed houses of Fira, perched on the side of the caldera, Santorini is one of the most photographed Greek Islands. You’ll disembark in Venice (Ravenna) and be transferred to Bologna this morning. Best known for its culinary tradition, Bologna has an impressive history and is home to one of the world’s oldest universities, founded in 1088 AD.
