Autumn Leaves Tour
Imagine traveling through the heart of America’s history while witnessing the kaleidoscopic spectacle of fall colors in the Northeastern United States. Our 14-day Autumn Leaves Tour takes you from Philadelphia to Gettysburg, Niagara Falls, along the shores of Lake Ontario, through the Adirondacks, the Green & White Mountains, Boston, Cape Cod, Bridgeport, New York City and back into Philadelphia against a backdrop of the rich colors of fall.
Our tour begins where our nation began, in historic Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - the cradle of American liberty, where you will see Independence National Historic Park, the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and Franklin Court. Next you will travel through the colorful fall scenery of picturesque Pennsylvania Dutch Country stopping at an Amish outpost to learn about this traditional way of life before visiting historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania - the most important battlefield of the Civil War. You then continue north through Pennsylvania and New York State, stopping at the Corning Museum of Glass which showcases spectacular pieces of glass art and conducts demonstrations of glass blowing.
You will need to bring your passport on this tour as you will cross the Canadian border to the awe-inspiring Niagara Falls where millions of gallons of water spew over the horseshoe-shaped falls creating a powerful sight and sound. The tour continues along the shores of Lake Ontario to Kingston, home to Ft. Henry and the Royal Military College of Canada. Then we take to the water on an included 2.5 hour boat cruise through the 1000 Islands enjoying a fascinating narrative of the area’s history and views of the fabulous summer homes of the rich and famous including Boldt Castle.
Our tour then crosses back into the U.S. and travels through the colorful fall foliage of the beautiful Adirondacks with a stop at Lake Placid, site of the famous “Miracle on Ice” when the US men’s hockey team defeated the Russians in the 1990 Olympic Winter Games. We then journey through the breathtaking Green and White Mountains stopping to visit Franconia Notch State Park and the magnificent Flume Gorge. Turning south, the tour heads into Boston, Massachusetts and where you will enjoy a city tour including following the Freedom Trail, seeing the Boston Common and the Paul Revere House. Next you follow the New England coastline to Cape Cod and visit the Cape Cod National Seashore with its pristine beaches, lighthouses and wild cranberry bogs. There you will have the chance to join fellow travelers for an optional tour to Martha’s Vineyard before heading into Rhode Island for a visit to one of the famous Newport Mansions. Finally, you will discover the “Big Apple” - New York City, with sightseeing including the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, the Chrysler Building and Central Park before continuing to Philadelphia to depart for home full of memories of a lifetime.

Canadian Rockies Tour
Straddling the Continental Divide is a swath of the Canadian Rockies that is home to three of the world’s most picturesque mountain landscapes. On our 14-day Canadian Rockies Tour, you will create everlasting memories as you enjoy a scenic drive past snow-capped mountains in a landscape so pristine it will take your breath away.
Our tour begins in Seattle, Washington with the evening at leisure to simply relax at your hotel or perhaps take the Light Rail downtown to visit Pike Place Market or the Space Needle. The next morning, start with a scenic drive through the lush forestlands of the Pacific Northwest to the Columbia River Plateau with included sightseeing of the impressive Grand Coulee Dam and nearby Dry Falls. We continue to travel east into the “Big Sky Country” of Montana passing by the beautiful lakeside communities of Couer d’Alene and Flat Head Lakes. You will discover pristine forests, alpine meadows, rugged mountains and spectacular lakes as we drive through Glacier National Park in the US and Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada.
Your mountain journey then takes you along Highway 93 through stunning Kootenay National Park, crossing the Continental Divide by Radium Hot Springs and continuing north visiting Bow Falls and Lake Louise in Banff National Park. You will travel along the Icefields Parkway, stopping along the way to experience an included ride aboard a specially designed “snow cat” vehicle onto the massive Athabasca Glacier. Then, visit the small resort town of Jasper in fabulous Jasper National Park which is the largest of Canada’s Rocky Mountain Parks. Within its boundaries there are an abundance of elk, big horn sheep, grizzly bears, mountain lions and wolves making it one of the great protected ecosystems remaining in the Rocky Mountains.
Our tour of Canada’s great national parks continues with a visit to Yoho National Park witnessing its rock walls, waterfalls, snow-topped mountain peaks and silent forests. We then travel through Salmon Arm and into the Lake Okanagan Region called the “Napa of the North” because of its many wineries and delicious wines. The trip nears its end as you enjoy traveling scenic Highway 99 into the Coast Mountain range reaching Whistler, the Olympic mountain resort with European flair. You can visit Olympic Plaza where the medals ceremonies for skiing, bobsled and luge events of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games took place learn about the local Aboriginal culture at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Center or simply stroll the village. Your two-week Canadian adventure wraps up in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia with plenty of leisure time to explore the city or take an optional excursion via ferry to Victoria’s Butchart Gardens, before traveling back to Seattle to depart for home.
