A Tip To Prep For Your Trip
Hotels are often located outside of city centers and may not have on-site dining, so foraging a bit may be necessary for meal stops. Be prepared to walk or order in to the hotel sometimes! You’ll make grocery stops along the tour, so consider non-perishable food items and enough water to stay hydrated, keeping in mind the physical exertion and hot weather.
Our Tour Staff’s Recommendation
Get to knowthe Southwest with a film! Our tour staff recomends “The Milagro Beanfield War” (1988) – A film based on John Nichols’ novel, set in New Mexico, that combines elements of magical realism with the social issues of the region. It tells the story of a small town’s struggle against a powerful corporation, capturing the spirit and resilience of the community.
