Welcome to Reykjavik! Known for its stunning landscapes and endless summer daylight, the Icelandic capital is an alluring city. Those arriving by noon can join a guided tour of the capital city. Enjoy the evening at your leisure, and join us for a welcome dinner. (D)

Today, we start with a visit to Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the location of Iceland´s Parliament between the years 930 and 1798. Thingvellir is also one of the few places in the world where you can see the effects of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates pulling apart, clearly visible in Almannagja or Everyman’s Gorge. The park offers a variety of interesting hiking possibilities. For lunch, we visit a family-run greenhouse farm. Enjoy an introduction to geothermal greenhouse farming and a delicious tomato soup lunch. After lunch, we explore the Geysir hot spring area and Gullfoss waterfalls – one of Iceland´s most famous waterfalls. Another stop today will be at Kerið Crater, a 6,500-year-old volcanic caldera near the Golden Circle. (B, L)

Spend the morning at leisure before boarding NCL Star or join us for an optional add-on excursion to Sky Lagoon. Enjoy this curated geothermal experience complete with a soothing dip in the warm lagoon, a cold plunge, a steam cabin retreat and more. (B, D)

Ísafjörður, the largest town in Iceland’s Westfjords, attracts outdoor enthusiasts with its stunning fjords and a rugged landscape. Once a church site and 16th-century trading post, the town also features museums and historic sites that showcase its rich heritage and culture. (B, L, D)

Akureyri, Iceland’s second-largest city, sits on a stunning fjord and is a hub of folk culture. Explore museums, hike scenic trails, and visit the botanical gardens. Browse charming boutiques, then check out the world’s northernmost 18-hole golf course. You can also savor Nordic dishes like smoked lamb, fresh fish, and Icelandic fried pastries. (B, L, D)

Måløy, located on the eastern side of Vågsøy Island, is a key fishing port and a small village surrounded by outdoor adventures, fresh seafood, and rich history. Enjoy the silver sand beach of Refviksanden, hike the rugged coast, or visit scenic lighthouses to experience Norway’s natural beauty. (B, L, D)

Leirvik, located on Stord Island’s southern coast, offers something for everyone—whether you want to explore Norway’s history or attend cultural events. Known as “Norway in miniature” for its diverse landscapes, the town features museums, art galleries, and boutiques, along with stunning coastal views and hiking trails. (B, L, D)

Inverness, located in the Scottish Highlands, is known for its vibrant music scene, and picturesque setting amid sparkling lakes and lush greenery. Once Gaelic-speaking, the city also celebrates its rich cultural heritage. (B, L, D)

Pack your walking shoes for Edinburgh and explore the medieval Royal Mile, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, and St. Giles’ Cathedral, where John Knox once preached. Admire the city’s stunning Georgian and Victorian architecture, and take in the breathtaking views from Edinburgh Castle. Afterward, relax at a seaside restaurant and savor fresh salmon, scallops, lamb, and prime Angus beef. (B, L, D)

Disembark in Southhampton and proceed to Windsor Castle, the stunning British residence that has housed English queens and kings since the time of Henry I. With grounds and a castle covering 13 stunning acres, its Georgian, Victorian, and Gothic architectural features make it one of the most beautiful palaces in all of Europe. You’ll have some free time for lunch on your own, and then make your way to London where you’ll spend the night. (B)
