Amsterdam Canal Cruise & City Tour

Enjoy a half-day boat tour through Amsterdam’s scenic canals, where you will see the New Church, the National Monument, and the Skinny Bridge across the River Amstel. Your cruise concludes in central Amsterdam, at which point you will continue for a short time on foot before stopping for free time and lunch on your own. The evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure. (B)

Bremen

Depart Amsterdam this morning and continue on to Bremen, where we will have ample time for lunch and free time. One of Germany’s oldest coastal cities and known for its lively culture and attractions, Bremen’s City Hall is housed in a UNESCO-listed 15th century Gothic civic building. (B)

Hamburg City Tour & Embarkation in Kiel (Departs at 8:00 PM)

Start your day with a transfer to Hamburg to enjoy an included panoramic and walking tour. Standouts include the glass and brick Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall and the Medieval City’s half-timbered structures. After enjoying some free time in Hamburg. transfer to Kiel for embarkation in the afternoon. Get settled into your cabin this afternoon on the Costa Firenze. ((B)

Copenhagen, Denmark (10:00 AM -6:00 PM)

The Danish capital was first established in the 10th century, and during your time in this vibrant city you’ll have the chance to learn about its storied history while enjoying the cutting-edge technology that it now embraces.

Kristiansand, Norway (9:00 AM -5:00 PM)

Spend the day enjoying Kristiansand, Norway's southernmost city and one of its most popular tourism destinations. Nicknamed Norway's Hollywood, you'll find no shortage of things to do in Norway's fifth largest city. Sites include the Kristiansand Zoo, Ravnedalen Valley Nature Park, and the white sand Bystranda Beach.

Le Havre, France (7:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

When you arrive in Le Havre, France, opportunities to tour the attractions of the Normandy countryside await as soon as you leave your ship, while the sights of Paris are only 2.5 hours by high-speed train. Omaha Beach, the site of D-Day, is another option for a memorable daytrip.

La Coruña centers on a narrow peninsula that juts from Spain’s northern coast, and is known for it's plentiful seafood at the world's oldest working lighthouse.

Welcome to Portugal’s hilly coastal capital, watched over by 7 picturesque hills. The peaks’ view of Lisbon’s historic streets and stately ruins, mixed seamlessly with the modern world that grew up around them, is one of Europe’s prettiest.

Cádiz, Spain (10:00 AM - 8:00 PM)

Cádiz boasts well-preserved ancient streets, seaside fortresses, and Moorish architecture infused with the easy going energy of contemporary Southern Spain.

Málaga, Spain (8:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

The city that gave the world Picasso remains a wonderful place to visit. Explore art galleries, eat some of Spain’s beachside cuisine, see La Manquita, or enjoy Málaga’s fortresses, Alcazaba and Castillo de Gibralfaro.

Barcelona, Spain (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Barcelona boasts 8 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, as well as a long, sandy coastline, fabulous food, cultural and artistic exhibitions, and shopping. Use your time in this port to see Las Ramblas, Gaudí's Sagrada Familia, Olympic Park, and views from Montjuic.

Day 18

Marseille, France (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Marseille is France’s oldest city. Among the terracotta-roofed buildings lie many intriguing sights, including the majestic Palais Longchamp and the Cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde.

Day 19

Disembarkation in Savona, Pisa & Florence (Arrives at 8:00 AM)

Disembark this morning in Savona. Next, take a scenic drive to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Your night ends in Florence.

Florence & Rome

Wake up early for a walking tour of Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. See the 13th century Duomo with the Brunelleschi dome and Giotto's Campanile; Ghiberti's golden "Gates of Paradise" doors at the Baptistery of St. John; the Piazza della Signoria; and the Ponte Vecchio. Enjoy lunch on your own before heading to Rome for a panoramic city tour. Today’s sights include outside views of the Roman Forum; the exterior of the Colosseum; the statues, fountains, and cobblestone expanse of the Piazza Navona; the lavish Trevi Fountain; and the Spanish Steps.

There is history wherever you look in Rome, not to mention world-class shopping, outstanding food, and a vibrant culture. Spend the day enjoying the Eternal City on your own, or enjoy a YMT optional tour. The evening ends with a memorable included farewell feast. (D)

The ancient world comes alive on this spectacular cruise tour through four countries formed by the worlds's oldest civilizations.

Your journey begins in Greece, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus high above the Gulf of Corinth. Tour the ancient site of Delphi, where the world's most influential oracle made her history-altering prophecies. Then visit Piraeus, the classical history-filled port city of Athens. Its archaeological museum contains relics dating from as far back as the Bronze Age.

Your first stop aboard your cruise is Kusadasi. The Turkish city once held the famed Temple of Artemis, a Wonder of the Ancient World. Spend a day in Istanbul, the only city in the world that spans two continents. Stop at the tiny Greek island of Patmos, and see the UNESCO-listed cave where the Book of Revelation was penned.

Your next stop is the Israeli city of Ashdod, which houses the world's only museum dedicated to the mysterious Philistine culture. Continue to Haifa, overlooking the Mediterranean from the fertile ridge of Mount Carmel. Explore Limassol, home to many of Cyprus' most important archaeological sites including the centuries-old Limassol Castle. On the Greek Island of Rhodes, visit the fortified Old City and the Acropolis of Lindos, where the Colossus of Rhodes once stood.
