Eastern Canada offers much of the charm and sophistication of Europe in a delightful setting much closer to home. Experience the natural beauty, history, and culture of Canada's vast provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
Your trip begins with a city tour of Toronto, a cultural melting pot on the shores of Lake Ontario, See towering skyscrapers, 19th century warehouses, a bustling harbor, and more. One of the city's most unusual sights is Casa Loma, a Gothic castle built in the early 1900s in the center of midtown Toronto.
From the city, travel to Niagara Falls for a leisurely day at one of the most famous waterfalls in the world. On the picturesque Thousand Islands, take a guided boat cruise through narrow channels, over historic sunken wrecks, and past magnificent summer mansions.
Canada's sophisticated riverside capital city of Ottawa is renowned for its Gothic monuments, world-class museums, and bountiful green spaces. Next, enjoy the European flair of Quebec City. It was one of North America's earliest French settlements, and has maintained its mother country's je ne sais quoi since the 1690s. Discover even more of the country's past at the Canadian Museum of History.
Your journey ends in Montreal. The charming UNESCO City of Design dates back to the 17th century, and is the largest French speaking city outside of Europe.

Today you will arrive in Toronto. Guests who have purchased their airline tickets through YMT will be greeted by a YMT representative and transferred to their hotel.

Toronto City Tour
Your vacation begins in style with a city tour of Toronto. This cultural melting pot on the shores of Lake Ontario has it all. See towering skyscrapers, 19th century warehouses, a bustling harbor, and more. Your panoramic tour includes views of the Banking District, City Hall, the massive CN Tower, and the University of Toronto. After lunch on your own, take a self-guided tour of Casa Loma. This Gothic castle was built in the early 1900s, and is one of midtown Toronto’s most beloved landmarks. (B)

Day 3
Niagara Falls Leisure Day
Spend a leisurely day enjoying Niagara Falls.
One of the most famous waterfalls in the
world, Niagara Falls is actually a group of three
waterfalls that straddle the border between
Canada and the United States. You’ll hear
the thunderous roar of Niagara before you
see it. Millions of gallons of water fall over the Falls every second! Visit the Falls or wander
through the charming town of Niagara Falls, the
honeymoon capital of the world.
You may also participate in an array of exciting
optional excursions to bring you even closer to
the Falls! Travel to the base of the Falls by boat,
or enjoy a delicious lunch with 360° views of the
Falls in Skylon Tower’s revolving dining room. (B)

Lake Ontario, Kingston & Gananoque
Take a scenic journey along the beautiful shores of Lake Ontario, then stop in Kingston for lunch on your own. Canada's first capital from 1841- 1844, Kingston is home to Fort Henry, the Royal Military College of Canada, and many other historical landmarks. In Gananoque, take an unforgettable guided boat cruise through the picturesque 1000 Islands. Cruise through narrow channels, over historic sunken wrecks, and past magnificent summer homes of the rich and famous. (B)

Ottawa
Welcome to Ottawa, Canada’s sophisticated riverside capital city. Ottawa has a distinctively European flair thanks to its numerous Gothic monuments, world-class museums, and bountiful green spaces. Discover Ottawa on a panoramic city tour, where you will see the Canadian Mint, the Embassy District, and the stately Parliament Hill. This afternoon you will visit the Canadian History Museum.

Trois- Rivières & Quebec City
Visit the Notre-Dame-du-Cap Sanctuary in Trois-Rivières. You’ll have the chance to tour the basilica and find out about the site’s nearly 400 years of history. Enjoy lunch on your own, then continue on to Quebec City. (B)

Day 7
Quebec City Tour & Montmorency Falls
Start your day with a morning excursion to Montmorency Falls just outside of Quebec City. Montmorency is taller than Niagara Falls, which you will really be able to appreciate from the suspension bridge above the crest of the Falls. Next, tour Quebec City, one of North America’s first settlements. Quebec City was founded by French explorers in the early 17th century, and retains its Old World French feel. Old Quebec’s ramparts are Canada’s last remaining fortified city walls, with sections dating back to at least the 1690s. You will also see the Château Frontenac and the Plains of Abraham. (B)

Montreal
On route to Montreal, sit down for a traditional sugar shack lunch, which uses maple syrup as the star ingredient in nearly every dish! Look down at Montreal from the peak of Mount Royal before settling into your hotel. (B)

Montreal
Your final full day in Canada begins with a tour through the French-influenced heart of Montreal. The second-largest French speaking city in the world is full of joie de vivre, history, and charm. See Old Montreal, which dates back to the 17th century. It is full of historical sites including the Place d’Armes, the Old Port, Old Saint-Sulpice Seminary, and the towering Notre-Dame Basilica. Continue through modern Montreal, which is so full of unique architecture and art that it was named a UNESCO City of Design. The afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy, which is easy in this cultural capital. Tonight’s dinner is included at our festive farewell feast! (B)
