Day 9

Genoa, Italy (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

Naples, Italy (1:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

Naples was first settled by the Greeks over 3,000 years ago, making it one of the oldest continuously inhabited urban areas in the world. It’s unsurprising that Naples has always been such a desirable destination; it’s perched 400 feet above the Mediterranean, which gives the city incredible views! It is home to the largest historic city center in Europe, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the stunning Amalfi Coast or picturesque Sorrento on an optional shore excursion. And don’t miss out on a slice or two of genuine Neapolitan pizza, which is the simple yet perfect forefather of the takeout pizza we know and love today!

Spend the day in Messina, one of the most popular cities on the breathtaking island of Sicily. The people of Messina are renowned for their hospitality, which you will be charmed by as you explore famous sites like the Piazza del Duomo, the city’s historic center, and the magnificent Messina Cathedral. The cathedral’s bell tower holds the world’s largest astronomical clock. When the clock strikes noon, you can enjoy an elaborate automata where brass figures mounted on moving mechanisms tell a gripping story starring lions, roosters, and local heroes. Before you leave, be sure to enjoy some delicious Sicilian cuisine—especially authentic cannoli.

Day 12

Valletta, Malta (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Valletta, one of the world’s smallest capitals, is so packed with history that the entire city has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
