Travel to the end of the world on this incredible cruise tour of Antarctica and South America. Fall in love with Argentina and Chile, and marvel at the desolate, magical beauty of the seventh continent.

Begin your journey with a sightseeing tour of Buenos Aires. Argentina's capital city is renowned for its delicious food, beautiful architecture, and of course, the tango! Board your ship and cruise to Puerto Madryn, where you can watch whales, visit with wild penguins, or go diving with friendly sea lions. Your voyage continues through the Beagle Channel to Ushuaia, the world's southernmost city.

Your first stop in Antarctica is Deception Island, where over 100,000 pairs of chinstrap penguins make up one of the world's largest colonies. Cruise past the starkly beautiful Elephant Island, names for its hordes of elephant seals. These giants lounge on the beaches of Elephant Island alongside penguins, fur seals, and countless seabirds.

Travel north across the Drake Passage to the Falkland Islands, then it's onto Punta del Este, Chile. Nicknamed the San Tropez of Latin America, Punta del Este is full of gorgeous beaches, excellent shopping, and world-class restaurants. Puerto Madryn is an amazing stop for animal lovers. Southern Right Whales are often visible from the beach. Guests can visit with wild penguins, or go diving with delightfully friendly sea lions. The Museo Provincial de Ciencias Naturales y Oceanográfico is a free natural history museum right in town. The museum’s preserved giant squid is a must-see!

Day 7

At Sea

Day 8

Punta Arenas, Chile (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

From the original name "Sandy Point," Punta Arenas had its humble beginnings as a sparse penal colony near the Straits of Magellan.Today, this gateway into Antarctica is renowned for its great shopping, gloriously clean air, and European architecture.

Day 9

Ushuaia, Argentina (10:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

Cruise through the majestic Beagle Channel and discover Ushuaia, where you can see Andean Condors amid the rugged beauty of Tierra del Fuego National Park. Ushuaia is the world’s most southernmost city, and this provincial capital “at the end of the world” is a fascinating port stop. It has incredible views of the Martial Mountains and Lapataia Bay.

Day 10

At Sea

Day 11

Deception Island, Antarctica

Spend the day amongst the penguins of Deception Island, a mountainous horseshoe-shaped caldera island just off the coast of Antarctica. Over 100,000 pairs of chinstrap penguins return to the rugged island each summer to breed as part of one of the world’s largest colonies! You can identify chinstrap penguins by their markings, particularly the narrow band of black beneath the chin that makes them look like they’re wearing bicycle helmets!

Day 12

Cruise Elephant Island (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Elephant Island is starkly beautiful. Its perpetually foggy skies, dark grey mountains, and snow fields make it look like black-and-white photograph come to life. The haunting drama of the landscape contrasts sharply with the island’s residents. Look out for the hordes of southern elephant seals the island was named after. The gigantic males of the species can weigh up to 8,000 pounds, and their bulbous noses resemble stunted elephant trunks. These giants lounge on the beaches of Elephant Island alongside penguins, fur seals, and numerous species of birds.

Day 13

At Sea

Day 14

Port Stanley, Falkland Islands (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

This quaint city is home to a tiny human population—there are so few residents that the town’s only “jail” can only hold 13 people—but it is rich with birds and marine animals. When you look out to the sea, keep your eyes peeled for the remnants of shipwrecks.

Days 15-16

At Sea

Day 17

Punta del Este, Uruguay (8:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Punta del Este is nicknamed the San Tropez of Latin America. This chic stop is full of gorgeous beaches, sophisticated resorts, excellent shopping, and a nearly endless array of world-class restaurants. That is not to say that it’s in the least bit stuffy. By far the most popular dessert in Punta del Este is the humble ice cream cone. You can buy ice cream nearly anywhere, and you’ll be amazed by just how creamy it is. Uruguay has more cows than people, and its dairy products are some of the best in the world.

Day 18

Disembark in Buenos Aires

Leave the ship and spend one final magical day at your leisure in Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires is nicknamed the “Paris of South America” for a number of reasons, beyond just its eye-catchingly grand European architecture. The soul of Buenos Aires is decidedly Parisian, and it is full of color, art, great food, joyous music, history, and a unique energy.

Day 19
