Along with your tour, enjoy free time to explore and grab some lunch. You can’t go wrong with a steaming plate of pasta with authentic bolognese sauce before continuing toward the Adriatic coast. You’ll embark on the NCL Dawn this evening from Venice. (B)

Day 6

Kotor, Montenegro (2:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

A tiny coastal town blessed with stunning views and over 2,000 years of history, Kotor offers an authentic glimpse into the past. Kotor has a phenomenal UNESCO-recognized Old City that was built between the 12th and 14th centuries and is filled with medieval architecture and historic monuments, including the magnificent Cathedral of Saint Tryphon. When you get hungry, seafood lovers should order one of Montenegro’s signature dishes, black risotto, which gets its purple hue from cuttlefish ink!

Day 7

Corfu, Greece (10:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Corfu is one of Greece’s most naturally beautiful islands—full of plant life and stunning beaches. In addition, the culture and history reflect numerous influences—from Venetian fortresses to colorful Byzantine churches to ruins from ancient times. Corfu is the perfect Greek island to sightsee, or to just relax and enjoy a dip in the Ionian Sea.

Day 8

Santorini, Greece (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

Today is yours to explore the unique island paradise of Santorini at your own pace. Enjoy the day and take in the majesty of the island’s spectacular 1,000-foot-high volcanic cliffs! Santorini is also famous for the stacked whitewashed houses of Fira, the island’s main town perched on the side of the caldera. On the southern side of the island, the resorts of Kamari and Perissa are well-known for their black volcanic sand, and Santorini is also renowned for producing some of the best wine in Greece.

Day 9

Mykonos, Greece (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Wandering Mykonos on foot is easy. The central part of Mykonos Town is closed to traffic during most of the day, and will delight you with its whitewashed cubic houses, labyrinth of narrow streets, beautiful churches, lovely chapels, and bountiful purple bougainvillea!

Day 10

Argostoli, Greece (8:30 AM - 3:00 PM)

The island of Kelafonia is full of incredible sights that visitors from around the world fall in love with—chief among them the views of the mesmerizingly blue Ionian Sea you can enjoy from nearly everywhere in Argostoli. In addition, the Lithostroto and Rizospaston are two of the main pedestrian-friendly thoroughfares in town, and are great places to eat, shop, people watch, and enjoy the lovely weather and atmosphere of this charming island city.

Day 11

Dubrovnik, Croatia (7:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

Dubrovnik is guaranteed to be a highlight of your trip. It is widely considered to be one of Europe’s most magical cities, owing largely to its awe-inspiring Old City. Enclosed by imposing stone walls, much of the Old City dates back centuries, including its spectacular 800-year-old Gothic monastery and the world’s oldest pharmacy—serving Franciscan friars since 1317! The Pearl of the Adriatic also boasts breathtaking views of the Dalmatian coast, a stunning collection of ancient red-roofed buildings, and plenty of English speakers eager to make you feel welcome.

Day 12

Debarkation in Venice and Transfer to Milan (Arrives at 7:00 AM)

After disembarkation this morning in Venice, enjoy a sightseeing tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site that has remained a diverse and successful city in the twenty-first century entirely without cars or trucks.
